I don’t think people would play @tf2pickup.net if every pickup was like that. That not even really the systems fault. The human factor messed that game up.

The fact that you actually banned him for doing nothing wrong because “you were in a crappy mood” really sums it up pretty well…

I told him not to hit me with the pan. He continued to do it and thought it was really funny and what not. I warned him about the ban. He still thought it was something he should do. I don’t know how that sounds to you. But to me. That does not sound like “doing nothing wrong”.

The thing with being an admin on major sites/channels/etc is that you can’t be reasonable or even good, you’ve got to be excellent. There is no place for ego and you should only ever argue the facts/opinions in a very poignant, concise manner. Like personally I’m an admin on literally every site that matters in comp tf2 with the exception of etf2l. If I took that approach to banning people “because I was in a shitty mood”, that person would be banned from vtf2, r/tf2, tftv, and about half a dozen major IRC channels.

It’s just not acceptable. The only person I’ve ever banned for personal reasons in Animal, and that was after about 18 months of constant personal attacks across various sites and in the pixel channel itself.

Lets all talk about pixel pickup! Anything about tf2pickup goes in the tf2pickup thread.
