True, and I’m not saying we shouldn’t be thankful for it, but “awesome job” is taking it a bit far when really all he does is recklessly throw money around.
There are people in this community who have done tenfolds of what is displayed here in this “look at how much money i have everyone!” thread, who don’t get a tenth of the recognition they deserve, if any at all.
Doesnt he organise tournaments and work to get the money, while saying hes the most contributing person in the community would obviously be going too far but in no way is it not an “awesome job”… Hes putting his hard earned money into this game and he deserves whatever he wants in terms of praise by my book! Some people are less modest than others, and theres nothing wrong with that as long as they give money to comp tf2! :D

I think ppl wrote it because you asked us what we think about it. The fact that its boring wouldnt mean we wouldnt play the cup i think, since there is A LOT still to play for… And players who would enter the cup just for fun i imagine would have same amount of fun with any gun.
Think it over man, the fact top teams don’t enjoy the rules as much doesn’t mean you need to completely abandon it… ETF2L still had prem back in the day when cinnamon was introduced, remember? ;)

sadly there isn’t much official support from valve (or anyone else) for competetiv tf2
hell, tf2 is the most played game on steam and the amount of lans/cups are far below cs or the like…
we all play tf2 for fun
but some money support is always a nice addition ;)
After fail with the 1st cup (aka “pro comes to rape tf2 noobs”)… :D

Of course, any Pro subscriber in this cup (like me) can invite 5 Standard players. So we have 5 free Standard slots atm. :D
If you have F2P QL acc (aka Standard) and wanna play, add me in QL (zynaps) and we talking about it.
PS If we’ll pick a good roster this cup will goes on the monthly basis.
