The weird thing is that I’m actually a credit to my team and we don’t lose the medic to any scouts? Maybe I should have capped more to get more points?

Well it is? Because I switch back to soldier on defending last points because a mini-sentry is useless there. I actually played a game after this one where I did 50/50 scout/engi with our soldier going soldier/sniper for 50/50 of the map and we won in 10 minutes. Its just the pixel balance that is complete bullocks that allows for this, and they need some scapegoat. I don’t see the problem with using a mini-sentry for cover while capping the spire. Its really awesome, gets in lots of hits slows down people a lot, gives early warnings.

Captain system would solve all problems, the balance would be fine and people could fat kid you :P
Also: Instead of bans you should require people to do public service as medic for 10-15 games :D
According to ETF2L rules Koeitje did nothing wrong. If people are planning on playing in ETF2L they best get used to dealing with engies etc, the ban makes no sense to me.
I guess you’ll have to… deal with it Koeitje :))))
From what I know, this was infact the 4th game where people complained about you playing engi. Admittedly though it wasn’t me who dealt with it, I’m really leaving bans/etc mostly to Waebi/huhy/Bill now.
It’s not so much to do with playing engi on mid causing you to lose, it’s just really disrespectful and not fair to other players. If you want to go face roll lesser players as engi there’s a good few hundred public servers you’re welcome to do it on.

It was my opponent complaining, not my team. Guess I gotta start complaining about enemies shooting at me when my team gets rolled. They are just frustrated they lost, and wanted a scapegoat. +We hardly lost any middles :S (we lost one, because our soldier cratered on his roll-out…don’t ask). I don’t play is because I want to face roll people, I play it because I find it fun to play and feel like it can be an addition to any team if played well. I’d prefer to play against tougher opponents publics wont help with that. With the current balance and player set its just a bad version of mpuktf2.pickup. I find it amazing to be banned again while no admin actually played with or against me to look at the situation first hand. If I’d wanted to troll I’d play spy or sniper full time.
