I\'ve been looking for a team for a while now but nobody it seems is willing to give me a chance. I\'ve always been more a part of the US scene in gaming because I tend to play at night but I\'ve all but given up on finding an American team because I can\'t find anyone willing to even try me out. I joined my first proper team about a month or so ago and played with them for about a week before I was cut without warning and replaced within the same day for \"not communicating enough\". Pretty cool. I\'m hoping that kind of stuff doesn\'t happen in Europe. :\\

Anyway, I play Scout/ Utility. Looking to start or play backup for whatever team will give me a shot, I don\'t mind. I play a lot of DM and watch a bunch of demos to improve as much as possible and I like to think my aim is decent.

I\'m quite shy and it might take a little while before I feel comfortable enough to talk normally but I have the basics of 6v6 down.

Unfortunately the comms thing is vital to competitive tf2 on both sides of the pond, you see at the lower levels especially, knowing where to spam your explosives and where the dumb-ass enemy are hiding are vital to getting picks and capping points.

If you’re shy that’s ok, but you still need to tell your team where the enemy are, even more so as scout, it’s kinda your role as you’ll be the first to arrive at mid, 1 call of ‘combo in left choke’ or whatever means everyone else knows where to jump to and/or where to spam explosives.

Good luck with finding a team, but ignore tf2lobby matches as an example of real 6v6 TF2. Any team worth their salt will demand good comms from their scouts. (full stop)

Yeah, I had started calling more things out before I was cut but whatever. Hopefully now I can find a Euro team where I can actually hit things as sniper :]
