Ultiduo Cup #6 Powered By Serveme.tf: Update
March 4, 2017
For those who haven’t noticed the groups and fixtures are out and about. In case you want to look at rescheduling your matches contact your opponents and see if you can work something out(do keep it within the result deadline). You can find the groups and fixtures right under the competitions tab in the menu. Due to our signup number being quite a bit higher then we anticipated and wanting to have as much teams as possible participate we’ll be adding an additional round to the playoff part of the competition in order to make the elimination stage work. The new full schedule is as follows.
CUP FORMAT AND SCHEDULE
- 50 seeded groups of 4 teams
- Top 2 in each group advance to the knockout stage
- Single elimination knockout stage with 100 teams
The schedule for the cup is very tight as we still have season 26 going on. All matches will have fixed default dates with the option to reschedule within the deadlines. Extensions will not be granted. All group stage matches that are without result on March 9th @ 23:59 will be nullified. The winner of unplayed knockout matches with no result will be decided with a coin toss, when the deadline is reached.
- Group stage: March 5th to March 9th
- Round of 64 to Round of 16: March 11th – March 12th
- Quarter Finals to Grand Finals: March 13th
The default times for each round will be set as follows (All times are in CET):
- Group stage round 1: March 5th 20:00 (Sunday)
- Group stage round 2: March 5th 20:45
- Group stage round 3: March 5th 21:30
- Knockout stage round of 100: March 12th 19:15 (Sunday)
- Knockout stage round of 64: March 12th 20:00
- Knockout stage round of 32: March 12th 20:45
- Knockout stage round of 16: March 12th 21:30
- Knockout stage quarter finals: March 13th 20:00 (Monday)
- Knockout stage semi finals: March 13th 20:45
- Knockout stage final & consolation final: March 13th 21:30
Of course a round of 100 doesn’t really work so this is how it will play out. 72 out of the 100 teams will have to play the match. The remaining 28 will automatically pass through to the round of 64. Mainly the teams that end second in their group will be placed into this together with a part of the first place teams. This should be generated on Friday the 10th so you’ll know on time if you’ll have to play the round or not.

Are the serveme servers available for non-donator on sunday evening? Or how exactly will you anticipate with possibly +-100 matches being played at the same time?
As I see it there are three options:
-Schedule ahead (you can make a reservation in advance)
-Use a donator server (there are 60+ available!)
-Use your own server from your gameserver provider.
What should I do in case I cannot get my hands on a server? I’ve been trying to reserve one for an hour or two but with no result, all are reserved.
can’t even get a server as donator, rip ♥
NO SERVERS LOL
what a mess
no servers lol
Added 10 extra servers.
If you want to be guaranteed of a server pick “Private server” when buying premium on serveme.tf, or just plan ahead a few hours :)
And 2 more.
we played agaisnt high players even doh i signed in as open
lol well
@prsn, the division selected in signup process had no effect to this cup, it’s far more harder in 1v1 or 2v2 cups to distinguish the skill level of a team compared to 6v6 for example, which is why we disregard the selected division for ultiduo teams.
