Global Whitelist Meeting
What: Global whitelist meeting to discuss unlocks for next season
Where: TFTV Discord channel – https://discord.gg/E5snBRe
When: Saturday, January 14 at 21:00 CET
Who is invited?
The event is public and everyone can stream it.
Who is allowed to talk?
Anyone can type in the chat channel, but the voice channel will have limitations due to the number of people that we expect to attend. Anyone can listen to the voice channel, but the only people allowed to talk in the voice channel are MR SLIN (host), league admins, and premiership/invite players. If it gets too rowdy we’ll impose more limitations so please keep it civil.
Who will be voting on the whitelist?
Ultimately the league admins will decide the whitelists for their respective regions using their league’s rules. The goal of the meeting is to bring everyone together for a discussion so that everyone ends up with identical whitelists.
Which leagues will be attending?
ESEA, ETF2L, LBTF, ozfortress, UGC, TFCL.
Rule Update
Seeing that we do this consistently every season having a general rule for it so the information is always accessible looked like a good option.
1.9 Roster locks
Every season will have a roster lock that gets enabled as soon as the last play week starts unless specified differently for the competition. This means that players will not be able to join rosters of teams within the active competition.
Due to some confusion with the following rules last season and some minor so far unmentioned changes of the rules we’re bringing them up so everybody is on the same page with it.
3.5 Switching line-ups or hijacking teams is not allowed
Only half of a team’s active line-up may be changed during one season. Any player that joins the roster after the main season starts is classified as “new”. If more than half of the players you use in a match are “new”, you may receive a warning or suffer a default loss. A team can receive multiple punishments during the season if they continue to use a roster of “new” players, even if that roster remains the same.
In order to allow leniency for teams that are forced to change their line-ups, we require team leaders to contact admins on IRC when facing extreme roster changes. We will deal with each case individually, and all factors will be taken into account.
3.6 The amount of players with higher experience is limited
A team’s active line-up may only consist of a limited amount of higher skilled players that joined after the Provisional Tiers were published. A point system is used to determine this restriction. A player will be given a “point” for each tier of experience higher than the division of the team he joins. For example, a high player joining an open team will count as 2 points. A player counts as “experienced” in the tier if, during the last three seasons, they played 3 or more officials in that tier. For example, for Season 10 experience, we will look at matches from Season 7 onwards.
Each team has a 2 point limit (3 for Highlander). If you reach the limit you will be punished. Please contact the admins on IRC if you need your case to be reviewed. Admin discretion will be used when dealing with specific cases.

In 6s, I read that first line as “3 new players are ok” and the last line as “3 new players gives a warning.” Which is it?
RIP Bloodis. My favourite 6s Master race admin.
@smultron, I made a small edit. I recon this is better.
