Season 25 powered by Tt eSPORTS: Preseason Premier Division Playoffs
For Season 25 we received a total of 10 signups for the Premier Division. Out of those 10 teams 
Se7en, 
LEGO and 
top5rocket will have a guaranteed spot. From the remaining 7 teams we removed one as it was a team of High Tier experienced players who did not provide any additional information or screenshots (except for one team, nobody did) but in addition to that they have not played any pcws so far, at least from what we could see. That leaves 5 spots in the Premier Division and 6 teams, namely:
Due to the exceptional amount of open spots in prem and the given time frame, we decided a different approach this time. The schedule and format looks as follows:
Monday, September 12th, 21:15 CEST
Match 1: Unexpected vs Animate
Match 2: 
ComedyShortsGaming vs Danger Dogs
The winners of match 1 and 2 will advance into the Premier Division.
Tuesday, September 13th, 21:15 CEST
Match 4: Danger Dogs vs Stevie Wonder's Aim School
The winners of match 3 and 4 will advance into the Premier Division.
Wednesday, September 14th, 21:15 CEST
Match 5: Animate vs Stevie Wonder's Aim School
The winner of match 5 will advance into the Premier Division, while the loser will have to play in the High Tier.

Just as a reminder. The signups for all teams wanting to sign up for the High, Mid and Open Tier are still open. They will remain open until September 15th, 21:00 CEST. Signing up after September 15th may result in your team missing the first week of the season.

this is a piss take, having 6 teams fighting over 5 spots is an absolute joke, I can’t believe this is actually taking place. All that’s going to happen is the teams playing on a Tuesday are just going to end up in High.
But only one team will be high after this…
While I do agree that the whole system in general for playoffs looks stupid on paper, there was nothing else that could have been done as a shortly made answer for this.
Unless if you would have had a better option for 6 teams playing for 5 spots, we just can’t suddenly reduce/increase the amount of teams in prem due to people having lack of interest in participating in the league.
Maybe you should have started it later…

It is possible for 6v6 and HL to have 3 seasons per year without regular seasons overlapping, without 6v6 being played around Insomnia time and without either game mode being played at Christmas. Why on earth is the current schedule so shitty when so many combinations of better schedules could be made?

@b33p You are missing other events that can be made throughout the year such as Nations Cup, Highlander Open/Archimedes Cup and Pre-season Cups
Apart from that you’re missing out on the time there is for playoffs. We generally hope that we can have a bit of time between the seasons so people have some time to prepare if they plan to play both gamemodes. So we normally opt for at least a 2 week gap between seasons.
“without 6v6 being played around Insomnia” You have a 6s season starting the 6th of september. Which, if you haven’t followed, is way too close to insomnia for premiership teams.
The summer period generally is a way less reliable area then Christmas so keeping it to cups without throwing a season in it is easier on both the admins and players that want to enjoy their summer.
