Experimental Highlander Cup signups reminder

Just a quick message out there to any teams thinking of signing up for the Experimental Highlander cup #1 that the signups will officially close at 18.00 CET tomorrow (Thursday 9th February). If you still haven’t signed up you can do so HERE, we are about 2 signups short of having an ideal number for the cup, which means there may well be some byes for  some teams for the first round on the map pl_barnblitz.

With Highlander Season 1 champions European SNSD plus other Division 1 teams like Finland Colony and Russia turbopoop eSports, this will be a great chance to showcase yourself against some of the best Highlander teams around. Remember to download cp_upland before the cup starts. The bracket draw will commence at approximately 19.00 CET on irc, join Quakenet @ #etf2l – please ensure you have at least one representative from your team on #etf2l during the cup.

    Hey, in your config pack there already is a cp_barnblitz.cfg. I additionally copied and renamed cp_granary.cfg to cp_foundry.cfg so it says
    exec “gamemodes/5cp”
    and cp_steel.cfg to cp_upland.cfg so it says
    exec “gamemodes/stopwatch-9v9”
    .
    Just making sure those are the correct settings, and if yes, maybe others might want to do this too for configurational leisure.

    Although it is unnecessary as the gamemode for 5cp and A/D and PL are the same as any other map of the same genre.

    We are due a config update though, feel free to post any suggestions you might have.

    Unnecessary? You can do that manually of course, but you would have to think about (admittedly, not very hard) which config to execute.
