Welcome to the Season 29 Division 2 Quarter-Finals!
This match will be played as a best-of-three.
Maps will be decided using the following Map Elimination System:
Team A bans a map
Team B bans a map
Team B picks 1st map
Team A picks 2nd map
LEGO picks 3rd map
As the higher seed LEGO can decide if they want to begin the pick/ban as “Team A” or if Team have to.

big respect for the perma pyro on process, these guys are visionaries who see the true shape of the future of tf2 competitive. team deserve to win the div with this incredible innovation.
why don’t you get prem main-classers against any team that doesn’t play how you want them to play. and make the competition absolutely irrelevant in lower divs.
lack of motivation, because why would you even try to play your best and try to climb the divs with your team by winning the div if you’re not sure if there’s not gonna be some prem team that finished second last season with basically same roaster and intentionally dropped so they could play off-classes but then eventually change their minds if you run your own off-class
also with no need of winning the div because if they want to they’ll just jump straight back to prem

If my opponents are willing to abuse broken game mechanics to win, I feel no shame in going to similar lengths and using every advantage available to me to reach that same win.
Once a close 1-1 game is turned into 4-2 by perma-pyro strats, all respect for the competition goes out the window.
Call it sandbagging all you want, but I will happily on-class for a map in order to smash pyro kiddies any day of the week

there is a time and place for mainclassing pyro.

if you’re going to be aids for an entire map i see no reason why they don’t have the right to be aids back at you.
There’s no such rule as “no mainclassing as pyro in 6s”, so i can play pyro as long as i want to. If that’s ur teams counter then i’ll play pyro for the whole map, it’s my choice.
Just like there’s no rule forbidding me from playing medic, or my teammates from playing whatever class they chose to play. Just like it was our choice to counter that choice of yours by selecting the respective classes that we chose.

Since we are on the topic of rules and whining, there is however a rule forbidding players from exceeding class limits, even when a player is dead. ETF2L General Rule 3.11. Which I would like to mention that your team did on several occasions to salvage a failed last hold.
This is fairly minor and nitpicky however, but my whining > your whining.

Then i don’t know why did you sign up for div2. Why didn’t you guys go div1 or prem if ur team doesn’t want to play against aids? There were 3 other teams who had perma pyro too in div2, you’re talking about this perma pyro like it never happened before in a match. There should be a rule about sandbagging because it’s just stupid, you played with almost full s24 LEGO roster (except 2 players Permzilla and Fribs) in div2. Which is kinda funny to me. “my whining > your whining” i’m not too sure about this.
We didn’t intentionally take 2 pyros, but you guys intentionally swapped to your main classes. While you knew it would have consequences.
Just because you don’t know how to play against a pyro doesn’t mean it’s normal to have at least 3 prem players play their main in div 2.
As you probably already know Olgha has been doing this for more than a season now, and other div 2 teams have been able to beat a perma pyro without even running a pyro themselves.
To say you can only play full time pyro in highlander is just bullshit because there are no rules about not being able to mainclass pyro in 6s.
It surprises me you aren’t complaining about running a perma sniper on product…

Whole div2A we’re playing against DABLANZ and few teams figured out how to counter it. I didn’t think that player with such a experience like you couldnt find any solution to pyro ;)
Dear teams,
it has come to our attention that LEGO have played a map of this match with a different roster from what they were told to play with throughout the season. Because of this we have decided that it’s for the best for both teams to replay the map in question, which was: cp_granary_pro_rc8
The map replay will be done on Sunday 25th, the exact time can be decided between the two teams. If teams are unable to come to an agreement about the time, an admin will set a time for the map. Teams can also play it sooner if they want to. If no results have been submitted before Sunday 25th at 23:00 CEST, results for the final map of this match will be coinflipped.

There isn’t a rule. What you’re referring to is the application to play in high, and then a later move to Division 2 from 1 as we intended to play the season for fun.
Good job on successfully countering pyro to those teams.
We also successfully countered pyro, our strategy was a bit drastic and is proving itself a lot more controversial.

What classes are my team mates allowed to play on Sunday? There’s no rule so I just want to make sure.
You just seem to not understand. It was so infuriating that we invested alot of time in this team and we actually tried to get 3rd place this season, tried making tactics and everything. Then you guys came in the picture, we played 2 close games, we found your weaknesses on the 2nd map and on the 3rd map you were main classing in div2 while most of you has been in prem for a long time. Your team is a little bit selfish in my opinion because you don’t care about the other teams goals, you would do anything just because you want to have “fun” in lower divisions.

Can the admins please make clear what classes each player in LEGO is allowed to play as?
Can Phil play only medic or is he allowed to swap to Pyro, Sniper, Soldier, etc?
Just wanna make sure you know, please list all the players and classes they’re allowed to play, and then please do the same for the opposing team, wouldn’t wanna be breaking any imaginary rules.
