This should be a fair game, if gink’s team allowed an high player, then the other team should allow an high player as well, just because raptor is in pups.tf, that doesn’t mean he’s just a mid player

Basically we allowed Raptor thinking that even if it means a bit of a harder game for ourselves they would have someone they are comfortable playing with. When Ignis said he wasn’t 100% sure he could play we asked for mercs who were probably about as good as him or Raptor and they denied both that we asked for.
Hopefully we have our full roster and have a good game tomorrow evening even if its with some mid merc soldier. No hard feelings from me if you want to take every advantage you can get even through abusing ginks goodwill of allowing Raptor.
Hey, we would like to ask for the use of at least one of the following players due to Dans drivers otherwise risk of not being able to play: Verse, Twisted, Zesty, (again) Relior (again) and Kermit. Again, we most likely need only 1 or 2 in extreme cases, and will probably be off classing as well.

I was told you allowed Raptor “in exchange for redoing map picks”. Which I think was super nice of us since you banned our two picks. So don’t come here talking about sportsmanship.
Also, anyone who isn’t on either team here and have no idea what they’re talking about should shut up and leave.

Wouldn’t have mattered, Kissa, since they would just ban process again and half of our picks would be gone.
Sure, the maps were going to get repicked but you _ENDED UP BANNING BOTH OUR ORIGINAL PICKS_ so calling us out on having bad sportsmanship is just dumb.

Ah, sportsmanship. gink and I were both happy with the original map picks (done with the ‘wrong’ method) until I asked for a merc. gink said he would accept Raptor as a merc, but only if we re-did the map picks and they were allowed to be Team A – trying to be fair, I agreed. He then banned our original map picks, but we didn’t make a big deal out of it. It’s funny how that was left out of the chat log you posted, but that was the original “favour for a favour”. If you’d asked for a merc at the same time as us, it would have been a fair trade, but that’s not the case.
The last thing you said to me was “ok, we’ll try and sort something out”. If you’d come to me and said “look, we’re really desperate, blah blah blah” we could have talked things out, like mature people. Instead you choose the option to just copy-paste chat logs onto the match page, without the background information, wait for the community to jump on the “they be denying mah mercs!!!!” bandwagon, and I assume sit back and wait for peer-pressure to have it’s effect?
At the end of the day, so far this season we’ve not denied mercs from anyone, and no-one has denied us anyone (except for pups denying Twisted because they were worried he would snipe, they allowed a mid merc). We just wanna play TF2 without the childish drama, but draw the line when it seems people are taking the piss.
I’ll get bak to you on the mercs, everyone is asleep or at work right now.

I wasn’t told if your team and iatgink made any deal in terms of “allowing Raptor for map picks”.
As for the map picks we didn’t purposefully change them after seeing yours. None of our team got consulted before the first map picks happened, when we were told they were getting redone I said that we should ban badlands because it is our weaker map (see bans for quarters) and let you pick gully (your stronger map? see your quarter?). It was always going to be badlands or gullywash both of which are pretty good maps for you guys as far as I can tell.
As for process I thought the whole point of the last 2 bans was so you didn’t get to just pick your best map out of the 3. Who knows what we would have done if we did the bans properly first time round.
I don’t think half our team was informed about what you and Iatgink talked about. Sorry I will stop going on about anything, see you guys this evening and hope we have a good game.
I mean, it’s not like we’re gonna allow raptor if Disney wins anyway, Haha. Just throwing that in here
