weird, with the newer version of more’s fps config I crash all the time, the older one from february runs stable though… any hints where the cause of the crashes could be?

I’ve been using this one for a while. Gives you ALOT of more fps, but it looks like UT99..

I am using eon’s config atm, and wow the art style with the lighting etc looks greeat, and I have crazy fps for the settings ;D

Bun your cfg makes the game look extremly ugly, even worse than UT99 ;), while giving me not more fps than more’s config.
Looks like an oil painting or such thing, I don’t know.

I’m curious about that boodah config.

Btw: something seems to limit my frames that has nothing to do with my quality settings. whatever I do, set everything on low/fps configs/etc. I still get only 49 fps (stable though). If I set everything on high I still get 49 fps. fps_max is set to 101, so that can’t be the cause.

@daniel: if you meant that blinking on/off i dont know how to get it to work without dxlevel 9

@ino: do you have vsync on, tho doubt that you have 50hz @ monitor tho but could be somekind of glitch or something :p

But yeah mine had a few issues like you have to add
cl_ragdoll_forcefade 1
now, since the last update :S i was sure it was already in there but seems i was wrong so people go add it :P

Also, as seen as this topic will probably die soon what do you lot prefer dx82 or dx9?

Currently using dx9 but before the last update i had to use dx82 but i cant decide whether i should go back or not…

Might post some comparison screenshots when i get back from dinner (going for Thai <3) so cya all later
