Ive been watching 2gd’s new project the last couple of days.

For those who dont know the new project “thegdstudio” is a group of casters (famously known are 2gd and apollo) who are living together in Sweden, and they showcase mainly Quake live, Starcraft 2, Bloodline Champions and Dota 2.

During their show when they talked about how their business plan was going to be, they mentioned they wanted to do something of the likes of total bisquits WTF is: series. However when TB did this he didnt really show the competetive side of tf2.

As we have seen from the show Bloodline Champions have gotten really good exposure from this with having a lot of starcraft 2 players getting interested in the game.

Now the idea popped into my head. What if Vanillatf2 would somehow contact the crew of gdstudio and see if they are willing to do a “what is competetive tf2” show. This would expose tf2 to the masses of starcraft and dota 2.

Now what would’ve been really cool is maybe have an arranged cup of top teams with casters who can talk about the general aspect of tf2 for people who havent seen this game before.

What do you guys think?

nvc is friends with 2gd I believe, fly him out to sweden as our ambassador!

Good idea, tf2tv used to run their own invite cups so they had some games to cast, maybe vanilla could do the same for this, get in touch with 2gd and the crew and get some exposure to other communities.

Fresh news from the press. Viqun is on the case

If you meet him give him a pat on the back!

I wouldn’t do that, unless you are in a girl’s hockey team.

It is nice to read and watch (extravision for example) everywhere that TF2 is not dead.
