As used by VTV tonight for the cc vs Epsilon game:

Currently it just gets the live logs from the server, displays those with some fancy formatting and makes stats for all complete rounds and shows the stats for the current round as they come in.
Stats are just damage and kills right now.
There’s loads and loads left to do, but perhaps you have suggestions for what you would like to in this tool for live matches.
tf2 casting is going places, if this is made publicly available and casts from vanilla/tftv are using it with blue’s outline plugin and blue’s minimap plugin, shit is going to take off. it’s the first time we’ve ever had actual good casting tools available to us

Does this get data live live or stv live?
It receives them live, as in gameserver live, but the output gets delayed by 90 seconds to sync up with STV.
Until a pause happens..than stuff gets desynced for 90 seconds on unpause, just like with delayed Mumble comms.

When I read the title I thought “isn’t this exactly what STVs are for?”

Get this with a little bit more development, a mini map, a synched warning system that warns casters and streamers about any uber drop / kill spree / headshot / backstab / airshot in time for them to caught it and you possibly have one of the most appellative and user friendly competitive casts ever.
While we’re at it just ask valve to allow slow mo directly in STV and we’re good to go for the cyber games :D
Amazing job. Would also be really cool to compare these stats live with previous data from earlier matches in the season/games from previous seasons.
