As we head into the final games of the event, We’d like to remind you all that the feedback threads are open for you to discuss the possible changes. Additionally, we’re opening public polls which will directly contribute to the choices we make for the upcoming Season 24. Please spread the word, as we’d like to include as many of you as possible in our decision making.

basti those answers are allocated randomly to counteract the “pick first option” bias. It doesn’t work well with yes, no. I agree! Spent a moment figuring it out, but there’s no way to change the randomisation of the tick boxes. Sorry!

map pool is fine as it is and so are the class limits and the weapon bans
About the complaints for the lack of voting on maps maybe we could use a different system than the admins pick a map and offer replacements. How about making some maps fixed eg badlands, process, gully and via; the rest of the old map pool gets into a poll which map to remove and another poll for what to replace it with.

Popcorp: the argument is that it lets you see uber which dumbs down uber counting. On the other hand though, it lets you micro manage fights and call focus better as a med, which would be an interesting change in playstyle.
Alphaa: We are only just beginning to toy with these public polls: you’ll notice there hasn’t ever been a public poll about league-wide decisions before. We have previously stuck to only polling premiership players, and it’s them who indicated in the previous poll that if anything is to go out, it’s sunshine. We may or may not choose to do more extensive polling in future seasons.

Would be more effective in my opinion if you put it all the maps and had people rate them from best to worst

I think there should be a vote for which maps you want to keep in the season. The least popular gets replaced with the most popular from the preseason (which may also be decided by vote). I personally don’t think sunshine or granary (pro) should be replaced since they’re the newest maps and are still changing.

Sunshine is a bad map, it is impossible to push out of sunshine last but it is still better than reckoner and metalworks in my opinion. It sucks to play flank as roamer on both reckoner and metalworks but it is ok on sunshine.

for hl players who say that badlands should be taken out: how about vote out upward from the next hl season?
oops, I voted yes to solemn vow but didn’t know it showed uber %age as well, ubersaw clutches are the way to go
If there is a map that should be removed it is badlands.
The clipping and mirroring on that map is horrible and that aside you have a last point which has a capture time of 1s and for scouts 0.5s.
It is a map that good teams lose just because of a split millisecond on point and it is retarded.
I think replacing badlands with metalworks would be the most beneficial thing that ever happened to the ETF2L 6v6 map pool.
