VAC Bans now enforced; some more cheaters

VAC Bans:
Our new policy of banning those with a VAC ban on their Steam account is now being enforced, affecting over 80 players. As we said previously, to prove that you can play on a secure TF2 server, and therefore in the ETF2L, please contact an AC admin by the “!acrequest” command. Those banned will not be eligible for any ETF2L events until November 2011.
The list of VAC banned players who haven’t contacted us to verify their account should be available here soon.

It is again with disappointment we add some new names to the list of known cheaters:
Forci – Aimbot- Izi8, a.k.a. LoiceLight – Wallhack
Each of these accounts will receive a 2 year ban.

Izi has told us for a long time that he had been vacbanned because of cheating on Garry’s Mod or whatever, but I don’t undestand this word “wallhack”. Do you mean that you have a demo from a match where he’s obviously wallhacking?

I played a match against Izi where he was clearly wallhacking (in TF2) – even a monkey would see it. I guess I have the demos somewhere if someone really has to see it for themself.

Both demos are basicly all covered with hax (especially the Granary-demo), but if you’re in a hurry just watch the Granary one from 50k ticks. Use r_drawothermodels 2.
I gotta say I don’t respect L51 that much, because you couldn’t possibly be playing that game without noticing his wallhack.

Hum Supernova didn’t got the story right.
IzI was on vacation and borrowed his account to one of his friends.
His Friends fucked up by cheating on a pub (with a wallhack I supposed).
When he came back, his friends paid back the lost game….
In anycase he didn’t want to hide this fact because he taught he wasn’t guilty of it.

I just want to add a couple of things. The reason I’m posting the demos is mainly because:
1) I understand that the admins want to keep the evidence secret, although I partially disagree in it
2) The material posted will not help other cheaters with “what not to do” other than “don’t be a retard, and at least try to hide it”
3) Fame
4) I finally get to use my webhotel which I have been paying for for what? six years

it’s a shock for the whole team… i can’t explain myself why some ppl are cheating… All our victories are from now illegitim… It’s fucking depressing !
On the other hand, Izi8 wasn’t such a good sniper (comparing to some famous players) apart from some kills streacks that could have been “lucky” or in “killing spree” mode;
i don’t see how we could have spotted him, unless switch into observer and don’t play the match at all…
A lot of teenagers in this game can’t handle pressure some french players put on their shoulders… they want to shine during matches conditionned by all the famous fragmovies (fragga, dr. justice so on…). Nevertheless, i don’t think cheating is a french specialty it’s international. So plz, don’t get paranoid and ruin that game with “nationality” fantasy !

It’s just that only frenchies are caught using cheats, but imo, frenchies are not the biggest part of TF2′s cheaters.

I wish people could stop focusing on the nationalities of the caught cheaters.
It’s not like cheating is a decision made on the top level in each country or so, even if it in the discussion sometimes sounds like there is a European championship in cheating going on.

There’s a tiny chance that the medic was healing that soldier but the beam just isn’t visible there (sometimes the engine bugs like that…weapon model and/or beam not visible etc).
(Thus he could have seen that a medic was behind the soldier because of the beam…)
But yes that dude definitely has wallhack (based on other situations).

Before I posted this video, I checked everyone on his team at this moment of the game, to see if anyone could have told him where was the medic, and noone could have seen it.
Even if we can’t see the beam, and even Izi8 wasn’t able to, before the soldier arrived, I don’t know a lot of people who aim at a piece of rock with a sniper.

sad that it is the french again, a reputation that they do not deserve. I do think Anakin (its not a complaint or anything) being french and the only real active anti cheat admin does tend to look more at the french. Normal.
Be obviously reassuring to the community that the cheaters come up and confess, even if that means the admins then “lighten” the ban in order for everyone to realize ETF2L does make the right decisions. Just my 2 cents…

While those “ban all french” jokes are totally hilarious and not run into the ground, I’m a bit worried about the situation of countries beside France and Russia. A lot of cheaters from these two countries got caught and that’s nice. However the VAC Banned list says people from all over Europe are cheating, so it’s up to anyone’s guess how many nonfrench/russian cheaters are running around. Go go AC team, gotta catch’em all!
