1. 6v6 Nations Cup

1.1 Teams and Game Lineups

Only teams with an approved captain are authorized to sign up.

A National Team is not allowed to play with more than 4 people from the same team in Season 12 or a similar league. Inactive players from a single nation team who did not play a match in Season 12 are excluded from this rule.

No mercs are allowed. Please add enough backup players to your roster.

1.2 Group Phase Map Schedule

Group Phase got fixed maps for all Game Weeks:

  • Week 1: cp_granary / cp_gullywash_final1
  • Week 2: cp_gullywash_final1 / cp_badlands
  • Week 3: cp_badlands / cp_snakewater

The first two teams in each group make it to the playoffs. The winner of Group A will play the runner-up of Group B while the runner-up of Group A will face the winner of Group B and so on. If two teams are tied on a promotion spot after all week 3 matches, the head-to-head record for both teams is taken into account. If they drew their group match, the team with the better cap difference proceeds to the playoffs. If both teams have the same cap difference, the team with more overall caps proceeds. If the number of overall caps is equal for both teams as well, a 1on1 heavy fist fight decides who proceeds.

1.3 Playoff Map Schedule

The maps for the Playoff Stage is decided by the map elimination system. The map pool includes:

  • cp_granary
  • cp_gullywash_final1
  • cp_badlands
  • cp_snakewater
  • cp_gravelpit

1.4 Match schedule and deadlines

Late matches are only allowed if the match was scheduled before its week’s schedule deadline and if an admin has been contacted (e.g. scheduling a week 1 match for a day in week 3 is allowed if this happened until Sunday, July 15 and if an admin approved the delay). Schedule deadline is always the Sunday before the play week starts. Rescheduling after the schedule deadline of each week is not allowed. Any games unplayed after the default date will be defaulted. Teams may agree to play their matches earlier than the week suggests.

If a match is not scheduled until the schedule deadline (Sunday, 24.00 CEST) admins will set the default date to the primary or secondary (if the primary default day already has a match) default day of the group at around 21.15 (depending on the timezones of the involved teams).

The default days per group are as follows:

Group A: Sunday (primary), Monday (secondary)

Group B: Wednesday (primary), Tuesday (secondary)

Group C: Tuesday (primary)Sunday (secondary)

Group D: Thursday (primary), Monday (secondary)

Group E: Sunday (primary), Thursday (secondary)

Group F: Monday (primary), Tuesday (secondary)

Group G: Thursday (primary), Sunday (secondary)

Group H: Wednesday (primary), Tuesday (secondary)

Group Stage Week 1: July 16 – July 22
Group Stage Week 2: July 23 – July 29
Group Stage Week 3: July 30 – August 5
Playoffs Round of 16: August 6 – August 12
Quarter-Finals: August 13 – August 19
Semi-Finals: August 20 – September 2 (2 weeks to avoid collision with the insomnia 46 LAN)
Final: September 3 – September 9

1.5 No wildcards are to be used!

No wildcards will be given to any team. Therefore please ensure that you are available to play on the default days. This is why it is also important to have multiple subs registered on the team, so that you can still play if a player doesn’t show up.

1.6 No mercs are allowed, even if opponents agree! All players that wish to play must be verified on the teams roster!

If a team uses a player that is not registered on their team in a match, ask them to leave. If they refuse, contact an admin. If you use an unregistered player, your team will forfeit each map you use them on, even if the other team allows the player.

1.7 Teams with 2 default losses will be expelled from the tournament

If a team receives a second default loss, they will be expelled from the Group Stage. A default loss during the Playoff Stage will eliminate your team from the tournament.

1.8 Dropped teams’ results will be removed

Results of a dropped team will be ignored on the tables if the team has not played all of their Group Stage matches.

1.9 Teams are not allowed to add new players during the playoff stage of the tournament

Teams must not add new players during the playoff stage of the tournament. The roster lock will be applied on Monday, August 6 at 00.00 CEST. Exceptions can be made but the admin staff will need a good reason to lift the roster lock.
