Div 1/Div 2 Skill, 6v6

Been feeling rather uninterested in looking for new teams this early, but considering I got two months on me to find a new team for Season 10, my chances of finding a great team is much higher. I might not be as active due to summer and all but I always have a joy of meeting new people in the game, so that will keep me going for now. This also applies to mixing and mercing so feel free to contact me for that.
WHO IS HURR?
– 20, female, living in Southern Finland. I speak Norwegian, Swedish and English fluently. Finnish and German are also doable. I don't have internet issues apart from the occasional bad server routing, which seems to be more frequent on my connection than others, but it's tolerable. I can play 4+ times a week, starting 19 cet and forward.
– I'm attending Summer Assembly (maybeh) and i43.
– I have played TF2 for three years, but didn't start playing scout until one and a half year ago when I got a proper computer. I started competitive 6v6 last summer when pubs started feeling like a waste of time. TF2 is my first multiplayer FPS and I have no previous competitive experience in other games but I have always been a competitive person by heart, shown through my love for fighting games.
– Previous 6v6 team(s): I only have one 6v6 team under the belt. I co-created and played with Spam Effect for about a year, a team that rose from div5 to div1 in a matter of two seasons. But in the end, I was forced to leave the team because it just didn't work out between me and another person.
– I'm very dedicated, interested in improving and I've received mentoring from Byte. Might get a bit too fired up during some games but I'm trying all the tricks in the book to minimize it. Also prone to making really weird and creepy noises. And sing.
WHAT IS HURR LOOKING FOR?
– I have chosen div1/2 skill because that's the level I've been playing on for a while, and I don't feel like going any lower. I'm accustomed to playing defensive and relying on survival, but lately I've been trying play more aggressively and I think I've made progress. I believe my strongest suit is my calling, keeping it as informational as possible (and I have a silly habit of keeping down the talk button even while engaging in fights) I don't have much dm practice as scout but that can be fixed right now. As for multiclassing, I don't play much sniper but I try to improve on that.
– An ideal team is a team with reputable people, stability and most importantly, a very confident main caller. Might be interested in new teams but I have very strict conditions on joining one. I will also help with server payment and other stuff. Interested in managing a team if needed as you must trust me, I have an insane memory when it comes to anything TF2 comp related.
So yeah, that pretty much wraps things up. Other than steam, you can contact me on quakenet (hurr), might not be on all the time though.

She’s indeed good at scouting. Also has a real finnish(women) accent. Should deffo play at div 1 level ;p
What can I say; like the rest of Sfx, she skyrocketed in skill level, and became a really solid scout. Too bad it didnt work out with Sfx/SNSD because performance-wise there were clearly no issues. There’s no question that any div2/1 team looking, should trial hurr (pun unavoidable). gl!

I think everyone knows about sfx’s skyrocket to div1, and hurr is surely one of the major contributors.
It’s sad to see her departing from sfx, though I hope you’ll find a good new home.

Me thinks alot of personal feelings have gone into one or two of these replies, and I’d be cautious as to believing some of them.
Hurr is easily a capable at div 2 and low end div 1, judging by what standards are in div 1 teams these days that is…
She’s very keen and eager player with alot of heart to succeed.

Best of luck hurr, always seemed solid the times we’ve played.
Even though it ended in a not-so-smooth exit (I was on vacation), we still had lots of fun games and good times in the team when progressing through div5 to div1, which we all contributed to in some ways, as a team.
Let’s go separate ways in a smooth manner, instead of more drama (and popcorn for Thalash).
Here is my honest opinion about hurr, both pros and cons:
– she prefers to play defensive scout, or at least that is the position she has often been taking and feel comfortable with, I believe
– she is good at covering flanks with that playstyle
– she works best with an aggressive scout partner with good dm
– she might need to work on more support-fire for her scout partner a bit
– she has a finnish temper, sometimes raging quite a bit when things go bad
– she would have trouble being aggressive in div1 and div2 _right now_ I believe, since she is used to being very defensive
– she is extremely dedicated – to the team, and to help progress as a team
– she is very dedicated to improve as scout
– playing as an aggressive scout, I think top div3 is the right thing to aim for to begin with, unless she works hard on 1v1 scout dm during this summer
– she takes the game seriously and doesn’t mess around, and always give her best
Dedication is the keyword here I think, she is extremely dedicated and keeps improving, and pushes a team forward.
Not to mention that she knows everything about everyone in the european tf2-competitive scene (;

Not div1 yet, but solid div3/2.
Good to see old clanmates can be so supportive even if you didn’t part on the best of terms! You know, all that bonding ‘n all. Now all that is missing is a turkish dude that’s threatening to visit you and stab you, but in this case he should be in the team ;D.
The few times we played her old team hurr was one of the few people that stood out to me. Sure, there’s a few things she could and should improve on and she’ll need time to get used to a new scout partner, but seeing the dedication she showed in her old team and the amount they and she played, that shouldn’t be a major issue while she gets more experience.

Anyway – had more problems vs hurr that against TviQ imo. Good defensive scout who can cover when needed. Sufficient deathmatching capabilities to play division 2 at least.
