I am a passionate medic main in the northeastern U.S. looking to get into competitive TF2. I have never played competitively before and see this "Fresh Meat Challenge" as a good place to start. My experience isn't anything impressive, I only have ~410 hours in TF2, but I feel that to really continue improving at the game, I need to start playing competitively. I am hesitant to say how good I am at the game, because I feel like I am at least mediocre, but having never played at a competitive level, I don't have any frame of reference. Also, in casual play, medics tend to not score very highly simply because of a lack of coordination that is vital to a medic's success. If I have a communicative and coordinated team, I do typically topscore. I feel that I understand the majority of the strategy involved with medic, but I'm not sure, because I don't know how much there is that I don't know. In any event, I am very passionate about the game and can learn quickly. In order from most to least, here are the classes ranked based on my personal skill/experience with them:
1. Medic
2. Soldier
3. Engineer
4. Demoman
5. Heavy
6. Pyro
7. Scout
8. Spy
9. Sniper
TL;DR: Medic main, no competitive experience, looking for team for "Fresh Meat Challenge," ~410 hours in game, ~30 hours on medic.
