Highlander Cup round 3

ETF2L Radio Website & Forum

Our recently started own ETF2L Radio is growing nicely and we are looking forward to increasing our level of coverage in ETF2L along with more QuadV and Gamefire casts in Season 4. Our two current casters AcidReniX and Beta are motivated to bring more coverage to the TF2 scene at a level as professional as possible.

With these improvments we now have an ETF2L Radio website page to provide easier access to casts and details, as well as a new forum section where you can further discuss the radio project.

Fun Cups – Deadlines and Default Dates

The 1^st Round of the Scout and Demoman 1on1 Cup and the 2^nd Round of our Highlander Cup ended last Sunday. Anyway, there are still some open matches of this Round with no information from a player. All affected players have time till tonight (Wednesday), 23:59 CET to post any comment on the Match Page or submit the result if the match was played.

On our Arena Cup #1 we had to set the following Default Dates for the Quarter Finals:

Additionally, we have 1 default date for our Highlander cup 2nd round:

Season 3 – Playoffs Overview

The Season 3 Playoff Phase is still in progress; almost all Pre-Playoffs have been entered by now and the Playoff Fixtures have been generated.

But first we would like to announce the date for the most important match of this Season: our Season 3 Title Decider Match between Team CoolerMaster and Ubersexuals will take place this Thursday, 20^th November, at 21:00 CET! A detailed newspost with all coverage details will be published these days.

Furthermore, we decided on some additional time to arrange and play these playoff matches, the new schedule deadline for all playoff matches is monday, 24^th November. Playoff match deadline for all matches is sunday, 30^th November. Please have in mind no later postponements will be possible.

1on1 Cup Maps Announcement + 4^th Cup Additional Winlimit

As many 1on1 Cup Round 1 (and also some Round 2) Matches have been played, we announce the complete Map Order for the Scout and Demoman 1on1 Cup (complete list at Rules Page):

Note: This has no effect on Round 2 Matches which are already played on other maps.

Besides, we added an additional winlimit rule in the 4^th Cup which already was in use in Season 3:

4.6 Additional Winlimit = Point difference of 8

We recommend stopping a map before the timelimit is over if one team reaches a lead of 8 more captures then their opponent. This is, however, by the discretion of the losing team.

This rule has no effect on stopwatch maps.

After we started with 64 slots for Scout and 32 slots for the Demoman 1on1 Cup, we are very proud reaching 128 players for both Cups! Please have in mind all Fixtures were made random as there aren’t any reference Cups played yet.

In our Public Polls the community decided both Cups will be played on small Arena Maps. We will start with Fixed Maps and a Best of 19 Rounds on every maps (first player reaching 10 points will win the map).

Also on our 4^th Cup the magic number of teams is 128 which has been reached within 48 hours after our Sign-Ups started. With teams from over 25 different countries this Cup is probably the most International competition in TF2 history. Beside the Cup Title Holders Team CoolerMaster, also almost every other Division 1 team signed up.
