Season 4 – Slot Limit

After the Sign-Up Phase started last Sunday, we are proud already 240 teams registered for our upcoming Season. But also due to this amazing number we decided to set a slot limit of 250. If your team misses to reach one of the last spots, you will still be able to sign for our Waiting List and replace a dropping team later.

Arena Cup #1 & Highlander Cup: Final Rounds

In October we gave two new Gamemodes a try: Highlander and Arena. Almost two months and many close matches later, both Fun Cups are near their end:

In the Highlander Cup, the first Semi-Final is already played and FakkelBrigade managed to win against the top favorite Finnish All-Star team Dashing along them streets. Now they are awaiting the result of the second Semi-Final which will be played between tf2world.ru and Second to Last.

The Arena Cup #1 is even one step ahead. In the big final the stable Division 2 team of  klan:fader will meet the most surprising team of this Cup, Hadouken. The big final will be played in a Best-of-3 on well, granary and lumberyard. Of course we will inform you about the date when it’s fixed and try to get some coverage ready.

4^th Cup & 1on1 Cups: Christmas Break

Due to the upcoming holidays we decided to expand the current Rounds of our 4^th Cup and both 1on1 Cups. See below for exact dates and deadlines.

4^th Cup

• Round 3: Schedule Deadline – Sunday, 21^st December, 23:59 CET
• Round 3: Match Deadline – Sunday, 28^th December, 23:59 CET
• Round 4: IRC Live Drawing – Sunday, 28^th December, 19:30 CET

Scout & Demoman 1on1 Cup

• Round 3: Schedule Deadline – Sunday, 21^st December, 23:59 CET (Note: If there is only reaction of one player at the Match Page, this player will get a Default Win)

Season 4: Sign Up Phase

Finally, our Season 4 Sign Up Phase is starting today! From 19:00 CET on next Season’s Sign-Ups will be open for 14 days. In between we will inform you about upcoming changes which will take effect in the new season.

Our regular season is the best way for teams of any skill levels to have competitive fun against equal opponents. All signed teams will be divided into divisions of 10 teams, sorted by their entered skill level or previous season results.

We will start with 180 open slots. When these are filled, all later signed teams will stay on our waiting list until there are 10 more complete sign ups again. Sign soon and save your team a spot in the biggest TF2 league worldwide!

4th Cup: Round 3 Fixtures

All Round 3 Fixtures were drawn at the IRC Live Drawing last Sunday. Again, there are some promising matches like the clash of both Division 1 teams 4 Kings vs. KomaCrew.

As there aren’t all Round 2 matches submitted yet, we can’t add the new fixtures to our system. Please have in mind all Round 2 matches have to be entered by Wednesday, 23:59 CET.

Finally we are able to announce the system for our Season 3 Awards.

Due to the amount of teams and players in last Season, we will use a new system to decide the nominations for some of our awards. At first, every registered user has the possibility to nominate players and teams in our Forum. After the phase is over, all votes will be counted and Top 3 nominations for each award will be added to the official public polls which will start on 8th December.
