“While red’s gyro held their last stand against the SICK LAUGHTER
their life flashed between their eyes

Three weeks of exams, offi only, red drew ties and a victory with his maincalls.
Then N3lly joined, monty ditched gyros for openers and Morgan went on vacation.

Without a main demo, their medic ditching them, and N3lly on maincalls, they continued to fight and had the potential but always lost games to 1 point. red believed so much in N3lly that he didn’t listen to his teammates and the entirety of ETF2L who told him to cut him, because he saw his past self in his situation.

Few hours prior to week 6, the admins told him his players are not allowed, then his new medic left. After the first map, red stopped being a pussy, got N3lly off, and got back on Pocket Scout. He maincalled and tied week 6 3-3. Then, after red cut N3lly, he suffered to fix the team, got new players but everything went wrong once again. His players never responded and the rosterlock got initiated.

There was still hope. Many teams cheering him up, saying he can beat SICK LAUGHTER. After suffering to get a merc on demo, he had finally prepared everything for the playoff decider. Except, his demo merc did not show up.

Despite all of this, red and his team put up a good fight against SICK LAUGHTER, losing each map by one round.

This day marks the end of red’s story in competitive tf2, but not the end of red gyros.”

Dear teams “red’s gyro: LEGACY” and “SICK LAUGHTER”,

please upload the demos of kpn., Mike Doe, tinder samurai, gobiro within 72 hours or face a penalty in accordance with the General ETF2L Rules.
You have to use the ETF2L demo upload system for archives under 100 MB, third party hoster links will be ignored. If you have any issues when uploading please contact the admin staff.
Note for Golden Cap demos: Simply select the same map again.

2.1. Every player has to record Demos

Demo files can be requested by an admin or any player of the opposing team.

Admins may request demo files at any time until the end of the competition an official match was played in; a competition is considered ongoing until its wrap-up post is published. Admins may request as many files as they require.

After a match was played the opposing team can request demo files at any time until 48 hours have passed after an official match was scheduled to start. They can request demos from up to two opposing players, who will then have to provide their demos for all played maps. A team is only allowed to make four demo requests in a single competition.

Players have to record the entirety of their official matches. Missing segments of any kind (e.g. rounds, halves) can count as a missing recording and may result in a team warning and an infraction for the player. As a rule of thumb, we advise you to check whether you have a demo file recording whenever you join a server, especially after a connection loss or a map switch. A player whose demo files have been requested has 72 hours to upload them, starting from the time the request was made. All requested demos up to 100 MB have to be uploaded to ETF2L; links to third party hosts will be ignored.

2.1.1 Penalties for not providing requested demos

Failure to provide a requested demo file before its due time (i.e. 72 hours after being requested) will result in a penalty for the player and a warning being issued to their team. Multiple instances of requested demo files not being applied come with greater punishments for both the player and the team.

Warnings applied to teams that fail to provide requested demo files can be removed once those files are uploaded. Player demo infractions expire after four years and will not count towards future penalties.

    Player penalties.
    – First time: No ban.
    – Second time: Player is banned for two weeks from all ETF2L competitions.
    – Third time: Player is banned for two months from all ETF2L competitions.
    – Fourth time or more: Player is banned for one year from all ETF2L competitions.

    Team penalties.
    – First time: Minor warning that can be removed if the demo is uploaded.
    – Second time or more: Major warning that can be removed if the demo is uploaded.

Penalties are applied if a requested demo is not provided within 72 hours.

    Dear teams,

team “red’s gyro: LEGACY” has received two Minor Warnings for failing to provide kpn.’s and Mike Doe’s demos.
Team “SICK LAUGHTER” has received two Minor Warnings for failing to provide tinder samurai’s and gobiro’s demos. One of the demos provided by gobiro was an STV, not a POV.

If you are able to provide the demos at a later date, please contact our admin staff on Discord in order to get the warnings removed. This is especially important if you want to avoid a player demo infraction.
