    Dear team BOG SQUAD

Please upload magg’s demos within 72 hours or face a penalty in accordance with the General ETF2L Rules.
You have to use the ETF2L demo upload system for archives under 100 MB, third party hoster links will be ignored.
Minor warnings for missing demos can be removed later after talking to an admin, as long as the minor warnings of your team did not stack up to a major warning yet.

2.4 Every player has to record Demos

Demos can be requested by an admin or any player of the opposing team.
Admins may request demos up to the end of the competition the match was played in (until the wrap up post is published). They can request as many demos as they require.
The opposing team can request demos up to 48 hours after the match was scheduled to start. They can request demos from up to 2 players, who will then have to provide their demos for all played maps.
A player whose demos have been requested has 72 hours to upload the demo, starting from the time the request was made. All requested demos up to 100 MB have to be uploaded to ETF2L. Links to third party hosters will be ignored.
Failure to supply a requested demo will be punished.

2.4.1 Penalties for not providing requested demos

Failure to supply a requested demo will result in penalties for both the player and their team. If a player fails to supply their demos multiple times while playing for the same team the team will be given a more severe punishment.

    Player penalties.
    – First time: No ban.
    – Second time: Player is banned for two weeks from all ETF2L competitions.
    – Third time: Player is banned for two months from all ETF2L competitions.
    – Fourth time or more: Player is banned for one year from all ETF2L competitions.

    Team penalties.
    – First time: Minor warning that can be removed if the demo is uploaded.
    – Second time or more: Major warning that can be removed if the demo is uploaded.

Penalties are applied if a requested demo is not provided within 72 hours.

Team NicerGuys was given a default win due to a member of the opposing team being caught cheating.

    Epic.

But to answer Moerman, we did not. He was playing the scrims pretty normally and his logs were in an acceptable range in the scrims prior to a few days before this official. If you check the logs, he started offclasing to sniper and getting 40+ kills per scrim in the last few scrims we had before this official. We started to become suspicous and have reminded him to record his demo as surely any team would request his demo if he played that good. Only after the official he told us that his p-rec is broken and that he is unable to provide the demo. At that point we started to doubt his legitimacy and we had no choice but to leave it up to the ETF2L admins to decide whether he is actually cheating or not.

  9. downpour: opa! said:

yeah we’ve only known him for like 2 weeks and only played like 4 scrims with him. it wasnt something that we had even considered until after the official at which point we decided to leave it up to the anti cheat team. cest la vie

  10. kbbq: Try. said:

    I expected this exact answer.
There is simply no way you didnt realise he was a cheater. Never played against the guy and I could tell just from the logs and his profile that something’s up with him. As if you didnt notice it during the scrims you mentioned.
Pls be fair to etf2l community and to yourself

  11. downpour: opa! said:

we never did any demo reviews and i personally at least never looked at his profile until the vac ban was mentioned after the official- was completely unknown to me before that. all we saw was from logs + 10 seconds or so of spectating him whenever we were dead. in terms of logs, yeah theyre suspicious and a clear red flag with hindsight, but some people are just good at the game, and that was the lens with which we were looking at them at the time. as for spectating, im no cheating expert, and i saw him miss plenty of times so that was the only convincing i needed. things happen, and this has happened. hes banned now and thats that, not much more to say

  12. smrk: 0FO said:

We did not. It’s as simple as that and you can take this however you want to take it. Whenever you spectated him he seemed legit, as if his cheats knew when someone was spectating him. It is only after the video of Nhaaj and his inability to provide the demo that we became suspicous and at that point it was too late. Fuck it, shit happens.

  13. Quader: Champ said:

It was easy to tell he had silent aimbot from STV demo. + Wallhack

  14. kbbq: Try. said:

Your conclusions are: c’est la vie and shit happens (????)

ITS A FUCKING COMPLETE STRANGER WITH LESS THAN 10 GAMES ON ETF2L WHO PLAYS LIKE A PRO, HAS THE LOGS OF A PRO, HAS A VAC BAN ( A FUCKING VAC BAN)…

Either you guys are retarded and have no general idea of whats possible ingame and whats not.
Or you just played with him to win.

Honestly stop it and leave the league this season is my opinion

  15. downpour: opa! said:

like we said we didnt check those. hes banned now. what more do you want? do you want us to shave our heads and films apology videos??

  16. theos: REMOVE said:

    fuck off moerman

  17. kbbq: Try. said:

I cant take anything you guys say seriously after what happened.
I want you and your team to leave the league for the rest of the season. And pls dont shave your head and ill fuck off.

  18. smrk: 0FO said:

Well Moerman, luckily, you’re not in charge of that.

  19. kbbq: Try. said:

Cheating teams deserve no mercy. I hope you can agree

Now ill leave this conversation as clearly theres nothing coming from this.

  20. smrk: 0FO said:

I agree that cheaters should be banned and not be allowed to play in any league or in any game for that matter. If it was up to me magg’s ban would be permanent and not just a year ban, however you can’t throw the rest of the team in the same pit because of one player.

  21. smrk: 0FO said:

Oh and @Quader to my knowledge silent aim was patched about 2 years ago.

  22. Harry: Nah - :Blinky: said:

How about you guys stop arguing about something which comes down to “he said, she said”? No proof that they knew about it, and no proof you didn’t. In the end, the cheat got banned and defaulted. Seems fine to me. I don’t care if they knew or not, so I don’t think you should either @Moerman

  24. Quader: Champ said:

@smrk That’s how silent aim looks on STV. xD You can’t patch it.

  25. pijacka: myx said:

I know I’m a little late here, but I know the players and I’m 99% sure they didn’t know he was a cheater. IIRC I even merced scrims for them when magg was playing.
