Very sad state of affairs – these fellows refused to reschedule to ANY day next week, their reason being merely because one of the maps of the official wouldn’t then be “that week’s map”. Their team PCW four nights a week, for reference. Sixteen games per week, but apparently because ONE of those games wouldn’t be played in next week’s official, they cannot delay our official. Forgive me if that sounds a little weak. Haha.
Further, despite callously forcing us to play on a day where we were missing three of our main players, they then went on to deny ALL the numerous division 1 calibre mercs we humbly asked for.
Their leader was very slow to talk to tonight; he would literally take 20 minutes to respond to me. I had the feeling they were trying to whittle down the time until the time of the official so we couldn’t get our team and mercs together to have a warm up game. Instead it turned out they wanted to stall until half past nine so they could simply claim the default from us not having everyone on the server.
Now I’m not one to go bandying about words such as “default” or “hunting”, but I do feel that ETF2L should bring back the wildcard system in order to avoid this kind of behaviour in the future, which is unbefitting of the first division of this prestigious league.

this is the last thing im posting on this match page bc i cba w/ pointless drama but tl;dr we didnt want to play 2 officials in 2 days next week (we only play tue/thurs) and domo had told us all week not 2 move the date and that theyd try to think of smth
scrab asked for like 4 or 5 mercs literally all of which have been prem for several seasons but thats besides the point bc they were ALL unavailable, 3 of which had officials on their own (alba, alle and potato for reference) which goes to show that he was literally just throwing out random prem players he hadnt even checked in with himself so that he could l8r go and cry on the match page abt how we deny every “div1” merc
Those are all egregious lies and falsehoods, but let’s focus on the real crux of the matter – you’re scared of Rising’s demoman play, and that’s why you didn’t want to go up against our full roster. Admit it.

We were all for moving it to next week just for the record, you had every right to deny it of course which is fair enough. When I was refering to ‘keep the current offi date’ I meant we’ll keep it the latest date we can to hopefully get something together by then not that we wouldn’t want to postpone it to the following week.
