If your opponent allows a merc, you are expected to extend the same courtesy to them.
But gg tho
If you opponent use a mid/high merc, you are expected to extend the same courtesy to them.
GG tho
mid/high cmonBruh
Fluo reached High playoffs last season, think he is pretty much High, not ‘mid/high’.
For the record, we asked for kr4tos to merc, who hasn’t played competitive since May 2016, and even then it was in High. He hasn’t played a game of TF2 since August (which you can see on logs.tf). He was denied because “he is Prem and we have 2 open players” – we just wanted him to Demo, last time he played Prem he was Medic – back in S22.
I tried really hard to reschedule the game like you asked, even asking the admins to give us an extension, and we cancelled HL games as this was the only day you could do. I accepted your merc quite happily, it’s just a shame you couldn’t return the favour.
gg, games were close.
It is common courtesy to reschedule a game when the opponents asked due to lineup problems, but you didn’t and didn’t really try that hard.
It is common courtesy to change server after we played the first map on your server with awful pings, but you didn’t. It is a shame that you couldn’t return the favour.
It is common courtesy to ask for a merc when said merc is in line with the division we are playing in. You asked for a player which played not just one season, but three seasons in the Premiership Division. We asked for a player that played his first season in High just last season. The fact about “didn’t play in months” just doesn’t hold: our demo (who didn’t play tonight, hence the merc) came back at the start of the season after playing OW for one year, and he was as good as new in literally five minutes. You never ever forget how to play TF2 when you spent so much time playing it, even more so when you played several times in the Premiership Division.
In the end it was a fair, balanced and fun match. gg again and good luck for the remainder of the season!
