Mate honestly twenty minutes isn’t that bad for a highlander game. It wasn’t their fault that the delay happened, it was actually YOUR TEAMS fault that it took longer than it should have and it’s because you can’t understand basic rules that have been in place since Highlander was introduced, Hajdzik.
You don’t just go ten minutes before a match and ask for a default merc, that is above your division and expect that he gets accepted. Obviously some people will get unsettled by this, hence why Scrambled got denied. Him not being a soldier main is not relevant. It’s the way you’ve set this all up that made them deny the merc, when in the end you even used someone from YOUR ROSTER after they okay’d Kaneco as merc. There are reasons you have 20 spots on your roster, so stuff like this can be avoided. If people actually used the slots for actual people being interested in playing, rather than having a bunch of rosterriders, we would not even have this situation.
Going on about how shit your team is and you arguing the same point, when it has been disapproved even from the ETF2L Staff really doesn’t make you more credible. How is that their fault that people in your team can’t manage to have enough available people at certain dates? It isn’t and whining about it, insulting the enemy team for not playing to your rules for a solid 20 minutes after the game could probably have been spent in another way.
You’d think that people who are playing their 7th season of highlander would know what a default prem is.

It’s not their fault it’s just causal league especially on lower levels. We asked them nicely didn’t say anything bad if they can approve him as normal merc. My reasoning is they don’t do it becuase they want to stick to the rules. They do it because they want to annoy people, because they think is funny. And then act disrespectful because they are far better than the team they are facing and being sarcasting all the time. You can do it but you’re dick about it. Why do you even care Asaaj it’s not you were part of that.
The problem is rules changed this season and they introduced that players who have less than 3 games in prem can be deafult merc in high:
A player counts as “experienced” in the tier if, during the last three seasons, they played 3 or more officials in that tier. For example, for Season 10 experience, we will look at matches from Season 7 onwards. If a player is on a roster of a team in a higher tier than the match in question, he cannot be claimed as a default merc.
We did mistake and said yeah our bad, can you accept the merc then and start the game. Like if he wouldn’t be rostered on TC:A where he played one game he would be proper deafult merc. But couple of people from your team admitted that it wasn’t very fair play from you. You could just jump on it let him play and win anyway. But you decided to be very mean to us, joking on chat. Rather than informing us about situation you can check chat from the logs you posted. Also it isn’t first situation you’re own admins even don’t know the rules:

So your friends some of them did follow the rules, but I can criticize them for the lack of sportmanship. I wouldn’t like to have friends like that. If you’re denying merc you don’t have to be dick about it either. And also Bloodis for an admin should be more professional about it.

Everytime someone denies a merc (which can happen) obviously people percieve it as a dick move. All they did was saying that they were not comfortable with him playing, because according to official rules it was not even allowed.
I think YOU are just disheartened because you did not expect them to deny a merc, above their tier, which is their right to do so. To my knowledge if you had actually confronted with your issue more than ten minutes in advance, the outcome woul’d have been differently.
Please refrain from questioning the choice of someones friends, that is not very nice :)
Alas, this is my last post on this matter. As you said I am not a part of this team, so I should not be as involved as I am in this matter.
This is like my second time I complain about someone denying merc. First one was like two years ago and I didn’t even do it on forums. I know and you know probably too that the reason wasn’t them being not comfortable with merc.
But you can lie to yourself and in front of everyone that you were threatened by his presence. I really doubt it. And actually we posted infor 15 minutes before official. Sorry we were busy with other stuff some of the people actually do other things and don’t watch anime 18 hours a day. Also couple of admins said that he’s viable merc.

One way or another, in the end you didn’t even need a merc, and even if you did, Kaneco was okay’d, so what the fuck is your problem?

I don’t compain about rules I complain about sportmanship and respect. If your teammates want to be professional and follow the rules they should also not be sarcastic in chat and discrespectful.
I was feeling that denying our merc had only one purpose to get us annoyed and following the rules was just excuse. We could have this game 20 minutes shorter but your team preffered to troll us be sarcastic towards us and post memes on chat instead. And then they will go arround talking about how retarted our team is and brag about dropping another team from competition way to have healthy community which is really small already.
There was no profit for any of the teams to deny scrambled as a merc he wouldn’t make any difference we didn’t asked shadowburn or another prem soldier we asked heavy main to play on offclass with one game above the level.

Death_d is a 6s admin and wasn’t fully aware about the default merc rule. But no, Scrambled isn’t allowed to default merc in High.
Did you guys miss the part where it says “If a player is on a roster of a team in a higher tier than the match in question, he cannot be claimed as a default merc.” with letters fatter than ur mum? Bad eyesight or lack of reading comprehension?
Mason yes we missed the part, I didn’t pay attention to the rules I remembered that there were some changes that people with less than 3 prem games are allowed.
It just comes to common sense, what’s the point of making game late just to deny soldier which wouldn’t make any impact on this game, it’s bad. And also we couldn’t tell if they’re serious or trolling because of their attitude on the chat. You can check chat on the logs.

It would make a difference for everyone in receiving this game. Game wouldn’t start 20 minutes late, we wouldn’t have memes and you being very unserious in the chat. We wouldn’t have this conversation and I would say thanks for letting us play despite our own mistake.

To be fair, the people who are complaining aren’t the people who denied your merc. If Jaeger has a history of denying mercs for the sake of it, I guess you could see it as fair. However I think it is unfair to be calling Hajdzik and Greg hypocrites.
It was also never mentioned that the reason I was denied was as a result of that, we were told that it was because we asked for the merc so late, which wasn’t anything done maliciously. I also don’t understand how asking for a merc late can be malicious, whenever you ask for a merc its rarely because you want to be playing with an unrostered player, and its a benefit to both teams to have these things sorted as soon as possible. Yes, there was some sloppy leadership from Devilz’ behalf, but the way that an admin responded to the situation was nothing but childish.
