Also me having a tag like that in game is not the only thing that could possibly offend someone on ETF2L, have a look at these teams :-)

    http://etf2l.org/teams/25543/
Semen Demon Loli Squad – A team which even has the infamous ETF2L admin kKaltuu yet still having a sexually provoking name like this?! Where is this world going!

    http://etf2l.org/teams/25343/
Crispy Niglets – This is pretty forced by me since niglet doesnt necessarily offend anyone but the team avatar having a black kid, someone could misunderstand the word niglet for more offensive racial slur

    http://etf2l.org/teams/21999/
Autism eSports – Autism is a serious issue, its not anything to be joked about yet you guys still allow these to play under a name like this

Of course these teams are in mid so their matches dont get casted or anything and they’re not top level gamers who are looked up by all the young gamers who are aspiring to get to the top level. So basically its making players in lower divisions more privileged in terms of expressing themselves freely, even if it could be offending someone. I at least would pick freedom over being locked up in this verbal cage of ETF2L so I guess this is my last season in the premiership season then.

    But wait! Theres more!

    http://etf2l.org/teams/16344/
Foreskings – These guys literally have a d***(censored to be more fit for ETF2L userbase) with wings as their avatar, now these guys aint any no name gamers from some lower division, they are top in their own division which is just one division below premiership so I suppose there are some young properly behaving gamers looking up to them looking forward to get on the same skill level as them yet they are allowed to have something offending as this as their name and even with such offending graphical content!

I beg ETF2L to give some kind of punishments to all teams that have something offending in their names/team pages/avatars, I cant stand being offended on a videogame league site anymore….

Sorry Roban this is Prem where you’re casted and 12 year old boys like Raptor watch video games, so it needs to be moderated to a higher standard.

A simple solution to your issue would be not to include a stupid link in your name then force the admins hand into making a decision.

You might think you’re on a righteous campaign, but to me it’s just dumb you even did it then act horrified you got punished for it.

With that said Kkaltuu definitely hates Finns and is secretly plotting with Putin to invade.

get better at taking risks with names

  21. roban: :-) said:

Im not really horrified that I got punished for my name, it could be mistaken for a porn site(its not actually a website at all btw) and thats the joke.

I understand how this warning would fall under the general rule “2.5 Abusive chat, nicknames and avatars are not welcome” but still to me this punishment seems like its pretty arbitrary, I’ve never seen anyone before getting warnings for having something sexually suggestive in their name, tho I remember that some portuguese guy(under name Diogo or something?) on the forums got his avatar changed into blank picture when he was using picture of a females genitalia as his avatar, but that was actually graphical content that not just a piece of text like the one I had on during this official.

    http://etf2l.org/forum/tactics/topic-27904/page-1/
This is one other case I could remember causing some uproar which is not hard to understand, after all the guy used a name and avatar of a nazi doctor and considering how sensitive anything related to WW2 still is its not a big suprise his avatar got changed into blank picture as well.

I picked these two cases because they are good examples of what could be considered abusive, or inappropriate, and to me it looks like its actually graphical sexual content which is understandable, and something related to WW2 because it offends quite a lot of people. Still ETF2L has shown that sexually provoking “mild stuff” as you could call it, is not punishable in any way. Fair Enough, a current team in premiership used to play in div 1 under the name “LiveJasmin Tech support” and LiveJasmin actually is an existing pornsite but I dont recall them getting any warnings for using a name like that. As I stated in my previous message that there still is Foreskings in 6s high, a top high/div 1 team could be looked up as much as an bottom prem since the skill level is pretty much the same, so I think its not just prem teams that should set an example for lower division players by behaving well, it should be at least high teams too.

We also had an actual ETF2L admin the one and only Bloodis playing and I only recall him chuckling when I changed my tag to the one that was considered offensive. If even ETF2L admins themselves are not familiar with whats offensive and what could earn you a warning it seems a bit arbitrary system as I said before and the punishment should be considered with multiple admins and not just single admin giving out a warning for his/her sudden whim and thinking “Oh this could be considered breaking a rule Im gonna throw them a warning for it.”, of course I could have prevented it my team from the warning by not being stupid and changing a tag like that in my name but were all just people who make mistakes and get urge to meme.

If not allowing even “mild stuff” like sexually provoking names and others is a new change in your rules I think you should clearly state the rule change somewhere so people will be saved from these kind of surprises and all people should equally get punishments over that rule.

Nothing personal to any ETF2L admins or the teams/people who were mentioned in this text, after all Im not looking to cause any “le bring ur popcorn and prepare for epik videogame drama xD”, and the warning probably wont get removed even if I wrote more walls of text here. Its not really my business to get more details if this warning was given by just opinion of one admin or the punishment was thought by multiple admins and ETF2L doesnt have to give me answer in that but I just hope that if it was a choice by one single admin then I wish you could check the case with multiple admins to actually see how many admins could see this as punishable offense, seeing what kind of jokes many ETF2L admins throw around in twitch chats, pickups, and pubs I dont think most of them are the type to punish people for something as mild as this.
