Regrettably i need to inform you guys i don’t have a POV demo since i don’t have P-rec and i just blatantly forgot to record. I know this will probably warrant a warning.
I have no idea though what was ‘fishy’ about my game because i did not even play good as the logs show. Anyway if you guys think i have cheated, i can only give you this answer: I do not condone cheating, i have never cheated in videogames and i would never cheat in videogames.
But i guess nobody cares what i write anyway, so good luck for the rest of the season.

I don’t understand why you need our demos if you didn’t have any problems with the game and found it “fun”. Is it justified to ask for demos randomly without reason? I have no problems with uploading my demos, but I feel like there is no reason for it, and that you are just abusing the etf2l demo submission tool. If you want to watch our demos for any reason other than accusing us of breaking the rules, then feel free to add us and ask us in private. Bringing it to etf2l is just pointless and a waste of time in my opinion. Unless of course you think we are cheating, but I hope you’re not so brainless as to think that.
Anyway, I too found the game fun, and I wish you guys good luck with the rest of the season; but please only request the demos if you want to challenge the result on etf2l. I’m sure people would be happy to give you as many demos as you want if you just ask them nicely on steam.

But seriously, if you really have to stoop that low it’s just pathetic, I don’t get why trying to hunt for a default (which, anyone can see, is what you’re trying to do) instead of actually trying to improve and not be bad. If this is a genuine mistake and you honestly just wanted to get demos to review and see your mistakes, then you should withdraw your request from here and go ask for the demos on steam. If you really are suspicious, then just think if these players with thousands of hours and several seasons would hack in an open game. These players have been part of the community for a long time and it really just is an insult (or compliment?) to accuse their hard-earned skills as being “hacks”. If you really are just salty and looking for a default, then be prepared to be destined to eternal shitness, as all the default-hunting teams I know have become. Just don’t even bother if that’s your intention, you may get one win now but trust me, it’s not worth it in the long run.

Nah, but seriously, you don’t need me to tell you that you’re within your rights to ask for demos, just unfortunate that Jojo hasn’t got one. Gl for the rest of the season.

@Sparky: since when is a missing demo reason to claim a default win? I would like you to point me to that specific rule, I might have missed it. We are mostly playing for fun, so your post is rather … well let’s say misdirected. Don’t forget your 2 cents on your way out :)
To sexy e-sports: I am sorry it got to that, however I don’t feel like you cheated, there were only a few “confusing” cases which we wanted to have confirmed. In the long run it probably comes down to some players not communicating.

I just wanted to say I am well aware you have the right to ask my demo, and i am sorry i could not provide it. I still would have preferred it just went through steam and not on the official match page, but yeah you can’t have it all.
Anyway no hard feelings, i hope this puts an end to this and i honestly wish you guys good luck for the rest of the season!

Over the years of match organizing you get a lot of experiances concerning to behaviours of other teams and not all “opponents” are friendly and cooperative. So if you want a demo from a (league-)game (the reason for this can have many reasons – not only an accuse of cheating…) it is the easiest and most effective (and of course not the politest) way, to get it over the league-page! So in the end there is no debating or moaning – just as result the demo(s) you wanted – unless the players can not provide them.
Unfortunately you, sexy e-sports, are the “victims” of our habitual procedure. I remember you as a fair opponent and I know, that my whole team appreciated it a lot, that you gave us the chance to pause several times, because of the voice- and connection-problems of one of our mates. And as I read Netskys first comment I couldn’t see something angry, bad or unkind in it! So please try to understand our position and another “sorry” for your feelings in this misunderstanding! ;)

It is always interesting to see the behaviour of people, who think they have to interfere in everything, even in situations they do not concern…. In addition it is a little bit embarrassing, talking about “a hunt for a default win”, when a team wants to see some demos. For you it might be recommendable to read the official rules again and concentrate on your own “business”! ;)
So once again a WP and GG and of course a GL to your next matches this season, sexy e-sports!
