Since Broken Bottles (and Dead Families) provided proper evidence that Team Swag did not show up on the scheduled date, I’m defaulting this match.

3.4 A delay of 15 minutes is allowed

A delay of 15 minutes for showing up for a match is allowed. If a team fails to have a complete team ready on the server 15 minutes after the match was supposed to start, the other team may claim a Default Win.

Team Swag, the scheduled date is set. Unless both teams accept a new date, you have to show up at the scheduled date.

Sending a new date isn’t enough, saying in steam that you’re going to play isn’t enough. Both teams need to agree on a new date on the site.

As for the chat log, Burr, you let 9 players eager to play wait 15 ~ 30 minutes, effectively wasting their time.

If any of you are confused about the HLO, the recent news post might help you understand a few things: http://etf2l.org/2014/07/22/the-highlander-open-how-to-make-sure-your-match-runs-smoothly/

Hopefully the next matches will be more enjoyable for either team. Good luck.

Geez. I don’t mind the match, but for the fact that all of our team was at a convention through the week, and came home at the very same moment he stated “you have 15 minutes until we win for def win!” – Asking my whole team to be on the spot.

So i was thinking, that if he really wanted to win, then he could. Because for us it was not as important.

Anywho, we’ve scheduled a match with La Resistance on the 29th 20:00 CES time, it will be far more enjoyable then it would’ve been with Broken Bottles as i’ve heard from their other teams.
