Dear ETF2L Admin(s),
I am the leader of DRC and got an E-Mail on friday late afternoon that we are supposed to play today. I proposed a date before this game was scheduled by you, but the other leader didnt consider it. We talked friday and he said he would have to check with his team whether he can change it, but sunday is okay for him. It is not for us though, because we just had our week 3 match on thursday and would go without any preparation into this game. jayserp, leader of Lotus nine, admitted they cannot play during the week. So it is pure luck for them that you scheduled it on sunday. I am disappointed that you give us the heads up only 2 Days!! before you schedule a game. I tried to contact an admin through your IRC channel, but after i waited 1h and 15 minutes until an admin would contact me “shortly”, I gave up.
I proposed another date for next friday that Lotus ignored until now as well.
It would be really helpful if SOMEBODY could talk to me about this, either the leader of our opponents or any admin. you can add me in steam -DRC- Stinson_Out or write an email to [email protected]

I have changed the default date to April 11th, because for the initial default date I ignored the proposal from Don’t Really Care, which I should have taken into consideration for this default date. Since they were the only team that bothered to schedule the match before the schedule deadline, the default date should have been April 11th from the start.
I apologise for the mistake. Feel free to reschedule the match in the week’s deadline.
Hi, I didn’t realise that it was an admin accepting the date, I just read ‘CanFo proposed to play at 11/04/2013 21:00, which was accepted’ last week and thought OK that’s fine. As I said in Steam, we’re happy to change it. I’ve put it back to Friday and we can play then.
This is aimed more at an ETF2L admin more than anything, but I just read up (http://etf2l.org/forum/league/topic-18475/) on the default date system and it seems so overly complex. We just came from a UGC EU 6s league and the default day was Wednesday 20:00CET for every team, I could tell my team exactly when we were playing weeks in advance to make sure they’re around, and we played 7/8 games. This system means that while I’ve got a whole team ready to play tonight, we can’t play a match. I assumed the default day for matches was Sunday for ETF2L, I guess reading the post I linked to above means that there is no default match day.
