Because this match has not been scheduled by either of the teams, a default date has been set for this match.

We couldn’t play due to technical issues. I contacted the other team and tried to reschedule and make them understand but obviously they were very happy about our situation and took advantage to get an easy win. Rules are rules in the end.

We’re sorry but we tried to be as accommodating as possible. We tried to sort out several match dates with you early on, all of which you refused and once the default date came down we made other plans (some of us have things other than TF2 to do).
You only alerted us that you wouldn’t be able to play on the day of the match and we tried to be as accommodating as possible, we we’re willing to delay several hours if you needed it and allow 3 mercs but you refused.
I don’t see how we’re the bad guys when you couldn’t be bothered to actually agree a match date with us and then only give us a few hours notice that you wouldn’t be able to play on the default date even when we tried to make it work.
We’re not the bad guys either, we didn’t refuse anything. There were no mercs to chose from today, mondays are bad days for everyone. Everyone chill, and just move on.
You set a time for the match 2 and a half weeks in advance. That’s crazy. Sorry but not all of us know what we’re doing for the next month and only have the next week planned if that.
Sorry our leaders computer bust on such short notice and us only knowing that we can’t play a few hours beforehand. Clearly it is all our fault.
As accomodating as possible? There’s loads of time to have played this game by, yet you denied. Allowing 3 mercs is not accomodating, we actually use team play and mercs are just randoms, sure they can dm and know how to play highlander but they don’t know how a team works.
Default dates are always set ridiculously early, you just jumped at the chance at playing a game where one of our stronger players can’t play.
I don’t know that many people who have worked harder than you guys to make sure you got the win. It’s honestly quite amazing, I know of teams who don’t allow mercs so they have the player advantage but a team that would rather a default win than to play the actual game? Man you guys have lost any respect I had for any of you. This must have been a team decision by you guys and all you saw was “points and eliminate some of the competition? gotta get dat medal”.

There were 3 days since the default date was announced and you didn’t tell us you couldn’t make it until 2 hours before the match even though you must have known. You didn’t accept our proposed date and gave us no reason why, nobody else contacted us. We had to cancel things to be here tonight.
You guys had more than 6 online at the time of the match and we were willing to wait several hours for more to come online or allow any 3 mercs.
We’re sorry but you guys hardly made an effort to meet us half way. We are not all 17 years old and can just drop everything to play TF2 whenever, we have to schedule this shit.
We had no idea. We had an official yesterday which we wildcarded but no word from anybody.
This evening somebody that does actually know what the hell happened comes online and says Atomicus’s pc is bust and can’t play.
I literally just explained why we didn’t accept, we can’t guess what we’re doing 2 weeks in advance, we do things on a weekly basis and try and sort that out.
Mercs isn’t the same as playing a full team, you should know, you’ve beaten us when we’ve thrown subs/mercs at you in a scrim. You guys just decided to be a bitch and go for the points than wait and reschedule a game for sometime in the future.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not just pissed at you guys, I think that deciding to not play a game from our side is ridiculous too and just throwing in the towel but for you guys to give us no other choice is more retarded.
I think most of our team is 18+ but that’s cool, just assume teams age.
tl,dr: WWF butthurt coz of lack of organisation and def loss.
and now: keep on going it’s a video game after all.
Whatever the reason, I’d sooner this match could be played. I think def results bring pleasure to none of us, do they?
You really need to deputise some people in your team, having 1 person on the roster in charge of absolutely everything organisation-wise, of extremely naive.

WoA are completely in the right here. A simple request to reschedule the match after the default date was set is all that’s needed to avoid a default loss.
Aside from that, will you really not get a merc if 1 member of a team of 9 is unable to play? How on earth do you manage to arrange highlander matches successfully when you have 1 person with leader rights?
Just to be clear here, Hagi said and I quote “I cba to reschedule”. Even though we could reschedule for the next 2 weeks, he didn’t want to do so for the obvious reasons. Simple as that.
Now get over it and move on. You can’t expect all the teams to be reasonable and nice like Easy Going for exemple. We rescheduled 5 times with them just because they really want to play against us and have a good game not like other teams that want to play for points.
It’s just a game in the end and that’s that.
