total fucking lamers, i would love to say gg after an epic 1st map but ur attitude to second map was a disgrace to the game, i hope u enjoy the fact u only won bcoz u was vs 7 ppl after refusing to allow us a 2nd pause, end of the day u knew the time we set attacking badwater was impossible for u too beat vs a full team and im saddened teams like u sign up to etf2l.
You are late… 20mn, the first map take 40mn, We use a pause each in the second map and it was 22h CET and half of my player had an another match to make…
So yes we refuse the second pause to finish faster… We cannot wait 5mn more… It’s that or we had to finish with 5player…
(in more your server was horrible and we had a lot of lags).
Having checked the server log, at the 15 minute cutoff point both teams had 8 players on the server. I’d suggest that both parties were guilty of poor timekeeping here, so we can’t shoulder full blame for this ourselves. You were also late.
The first map took 40 mins because of golden cap, so there’s nothing out of the ordinary about the timing here either – it can happen (and this was a really nice close game, btw).
The problem is just how you handled the pauses on Badwater. The reasonable thing to do would be to have allowed us the second pause (as our initial pause was literally 10-15 seconds while Cu fixed his broken comms). Sure, we only have the right to one pause per map, but your pause was actually just under the full 5 minutes (which is fine within the rules, as you did have 2 players drop). To then refuse us the same courtesy when our 2 players had technical problems – this is why it’s a disgrace.
We also rolled you in about 5 minutes first round of Badwater – would you have left the server for your other game if we were actually slower in capping and took 15+ mins to do it, and then you’d have potentially 15 minutes of time to push as well? I very much doubt it. Allow enough time for the game with unexpected stuff next time.
The server was also fine. Didn’t hear any complaints before or during the game either.
tl;dr: Meh, undeserved win is undeserving.
I think you are seriously going too far in your thoughts about us. We are just a mix of regular 6v6’er who wanted to have fun playing highlander in a balanced division, that’s what happen.
Sorry for the pause thingy if that annoyed you, but everyone in our team was fed up with the game because of the multiple problems on the map before you paused the game.
That was the end of the match (we were capping point 3 iirc with uber advantage i think), some players had some matchs after and i think everyone of us thought that the map was already over when you paused so we didn’t accept a potential 5 mn pause for 2 mn of effective play after, that wasn’t really necesary. Maybe not fair play but srlsy that’s highlander and tbh the map was already screwed with the problems in the first round.
+ No one of us thought one second of the win posibilty or the time we set etc.
+ Ask pause when you have a problem, don’t pause yourself suddenly (that’s in the rules). Personnaly that’s something i really don’t like when that happens.
for everything i just wrote i think your “total fucking lamers” statement is a bit exaggerated.
On a positive note, moar gully in highglander, was fun.

Each team has the right to one pause per map.
A pause may not last longer than 5 minutes.
They have already use their pause ! It’s was a second pause ! And we’ll win the map 2mn after the request ! Maybe it’s beccause kop is an admin ? We have win this map and the pause didn’t change anything !
that means they are allowed to use a pause, it doesnt mean they cant use more as long as they dont take the piss, the admins watched the demo and can see clearly that until we had 2 crashes u wasnt moving the cart. as for me being an admin i had no decision in this, as with any case that involves an admin, i said my side of the story as a player and gave a demo, the rest was done by those who were allowed to be involved, fact is justice is done here, i allowed a merc, i allowed u to have 2 pauses in badwater(the admins have seen both of ur pauses that u seem to have forgotton about) and i allowed u to play the map of ur choice in place of gpit, yet u dont allow a 2nd pause and manually disallow us that pause even tho we allowed u 2, Fairplay is fairplay so justice is most deffinately done, ur 2 pauses combined took 6 and a half mins, our 1 pause took 15 seconds yet u still refuse us a 2nd, take a look at urself and ask who really deserved the 2nd map and the fact is with 9 ppl CiC would have easily done it
It’s was a pause/unpause beccause we had 2 deconnexion for your fucking bad server at the same moment. It’s just one pause for us.
For the merc you didn’t allowed anything beccause you cannot the choice of the merc ! It’s was just for the fairplay if i tell you that we used a merc ! And if we don’t play gravelpit it’s beccause the map have a problem with the overtime… We choice both an another map !
For the pause it’s was the second it’s was very late and many player must make an another match… And at the beginning of the match we had waiting your last 10mn (We was 9 at 8h50 and the match began at 9h…). We was fairplay but it’s was too much.
And if the rule say : Each team has the right to one pause per map. That’s meen that we had the right to refuse a second pause… It’s the rule and it’s our right ! You cannot have a defaut win like that !
it doesnt say u CANT pause more than once, and i did allow u a new map, i said what map u want and we;ll play it, u said badwater, and pause/unpause makes no difference, u paused twice, our 1st pause was only tiny as the admins have seen from the demo, pausing/unpausing allowed ur player back on server and confused our team. result will stand as the pause rule was abused by urself, if u was unhappy with a 2nd pause u tell an admin not just plainly refuse it and make us play with only 7
as for the server well u didnt moan once from what i remember and u could easily have asked for the 2nd map to be played on ur server(if u dont have a server that is not our fault)
We have a server but we were so late that we decide to stay on your server… And it’s the same reason who push us to refuse the second pause…
oh get real, we set a time of 5 minutes, we woulda been allowed a maximum 5 minute pause so the most ur push woulda taken woulda been 10mins and 3 seconds, and badwater can last 3 times longer than that per push, i suggest next time u dont arrange a match straight after an official highlander and highlander is totally unpredictable when it comes to how long they take.
also u took like 10 mins to ready up for start of 2nd map, i even asked if u really had a match after as u took so long to ready up on the 2nd map, u coulda easily have setup ur own server during such a long gap inbetween maps so that excuse is totally void im afraid
Like keyro say we are player from 6v6 who just want to play with fun. We have each a different 6v6 team and me i don’t have a another match after our highlander play… But other player from my team had a match so we use OUR RIGHT to refuse the second pause…
If you didn’t be late at the beginning we should accept the pause but in thise case we refuse. It was our right and you cannot have a defaut for that. It’s the rule and we respect the rules !
if u didnt take so long at half way point it would also have been fine, also u dont have a right to refuse a pause, the rules simply stats teams CAN pause
The rules says that teams can pause once a map… That’s suppose that you need the agreement of the two team for more…
The rules says that you have a right for one pause per map. After it’s not a right but a possibility and you need for our agreement for that ! But because you was late at the beginning we refuse the seconde pause.
I think that the admin took a decision just with your side and they didn’t talk me… And i don’t accept that. We respect the rule and use our right to refuse a second pause.

If the friend of admin can change the rule to get default people must know that… The rule say that you have one pause so you use one pause. After if we disagree it’s our choice !
no it doesnt, nowhere does it say that a team can REFUSE a pause, the rule is there to stat that pauses can be made
but fact is u used 2 pauses, all the admins that watched the demo saw u paused, then unpaused for a few seconds and then u paused again, the logs also clearly show u used 2 yes TWO pauses during badwater and we didnt refuse that, we could have easily said we dont allow second pause after u paused and then unpaused then paused again.
Doesnt matter how long u unpaused for, the biggest fact is u 100% used 2 pauses during ur defence of badwater and bcoz of that the decision will NOT be changed
It’s not 2 pause separated ! It’s was a pause/unpause for one of our two deconnection in the same time with the fucking client information. And you accepted that. If you refused it was the same but one of our player had to waiting in client information the second…

So all your case is based on that fact ? Seriously :)…
The “unpause/pause” has been done for the sole purpose of letting our players connect to the server. That’s something i’ve seen a lot in pcw these times, that allow the players that are connecting to gain 15/20 seconds so that’s fair, i can’t imagine that you are actually counting that as a second pause :)
And you are wrong there wasn’t “a few seconds” between pause and unpause because that was instantaneous or 0.01 seconds, just checked on the demo. Don’t know how your team can be confused with that.
+ One of your player also done a pause/unpause during that pause, which if i count correctly : 3 pause from you on badwater at the end ?
+ Like i said previsouly and admins seemingly ignored is the fact that you paused the game yourself when you requested it, which totally forbidden. We had 15 seconds to do it. Fact is all theses wall of text wouldn’t have been written because i refused the pause only because of that, this is very annoying to be paused by the enemy when you are actually doing something and a lack of respect.
Maybe what we do wasn’t the most fair thing to do but we are in the rules, you are not.
And can’t imagine how such wall of text have been written for that highlander match, nobody in our team lame on even think about it when that happen. Whatever happend i don’t care that was a fun match and my last pst on this page but i think we have an admin abuse case here.

ill have my 2 cents :) There was a pause near the beginning as one player dropped. thats fine that was a minute or something. Then there was another pause as 2 of yours dropped not long after the pause unpause fair enough to allow your players to get in. That was so all 9 of your players were there and prepared. One of ours had some problems hence the 15 sec pause. A while after technical problems meant myself and another dropped and you refused anther pause. We try and play fair with everyone, yes we were late at the beginning with both teams not having enough players. Thats just bad time keeping and both teams are guilty of that. But to keep commenting “Default win” in the chat box is highly annoying we had problems we allowed your merc we were simply looking for another player.
Anyhoo on the whole it was a GG especially to get GC on the first round was epic and the second map our push was great had all 9 of us had been there on your push im sure we would have gived you a run for your money.
Lets just leave it be now the points were awarded and HL is finished.

First you were late… We were 9 at 8h50 and we waited to 9:00 your last… In the first map you used a pause, us when our medic (Yes the medic !) had a problem we don’t use our pause beccause we was late. We decided to not change server (who was horrible) for the same reason.
In the second map you asked for a pause and we paused after we asked for our FIRST and ONLY pause beccause we had two drop in the same time. After you sayed pause in the tchat and it was YOU who made the pause in a push ! It is forbidden no ?
And lol for the merc we said that we used a merc just for the fairplay you didn’t have the choice read the rules…
We was fairplay, you not… And you took an advertisement for flaming no ? But like your leader is an admin you have a default who is absolutely unjustified

this was a real admin dealing with it, like i told u i had NO say in this decision at all, i sent a demo and server logs, they watched it all and made a decision that i was not allowed to get involved in and this was the decision they made, so think its admin h4x or whatever u like but it was dealt with like any normal case was. END OF STORY.
