Hi, I proposed a date/time on the admin panel but for some reason it’s ignored what time I put and defaulted to 2130.
I’m proposing Sunday 10th April at 2030 CET.
The below is my response to a counter-proposal to the above date posted by Frimya on the admin panel:
I’m afraid we won’t have anywhere near enough people available to play your proposed date (a Saturday night, the same would be true for a Friday). Your proposed time of 1900 is also far too early for us. Generally for a weekday game we’d prefer a start time between 2100 & 2200. We can do earlier on Sundays, from 2000?
Just for reference, your proposed date (2nd April) is actually week 1, not that it matters I guess.
Hi, I’ve not heard anything back about my proposed date of Sunday 10th, but with an earlier start time of 20:00 CET. Would this be ok for you?
The below is my response to a counter-proposal by Frimya to play on 02/04/10 (2000):
Unfortunately as I mentioned above, we’re not available on Saturday nights (or Fridays). I’m assuming because of the time difference a week day is out, so Sundays would be preferable (starting after 2000).
To make it easier, we’re available as follows:
Monday 4th – start time between 2100 CET & 2200 CET preferable (can do 2030 if needs be)
Tuesday 5th – start time between 2100 CET & 2200 CET preferable (can do 2030 if needs be)
Wednesday 6th – start time between 2100 CET & 2200 CET preferable (can do 2030 if needs be)
Thursday 7th – start time between 2100 CET & 2200 CET preferable (can do 2030 if needs be)
Sunday 10th – start time between 2000 CET & 2200 CET preferable
We *may* be able to start earlier on the Sunday (1900 CET), but I’d need to confirm with the rest of the clan first. Any earlier than this would be difficult, but I can always ask.
I’ve spoken with Madd who has informed me that there is a +7 hour time difference for them from CET. As such this game is going to be very difficult to arrange, as obviously early matches on weekdays are not possible due to work commitments. Saturdays (anytime) and Sundays during the day are obviously not preferable due to family commitments for many of our members.
I would note that the ‘standard’ ETF2L times of say between 1900CET and 2200CET mean this is too late for Nope and earlier than this is too early for 9m. I question the practicalities of match arranging when it comes to such massive time differences between teams as clearly this isn’t going to work…
Given that CET time is used by the entire league I don’t think it’s unreasonable for clans to be expected to play between the usual evening hours of 1900 & 2200 CET that 99% of ETF2L matches conform to.
Because this match has not been scheduled by either of the teams, a default date has been set for this match.
The default date is: Sunday, 10 April 2011, 20:00
Please play this match on the appointed time and submit the results.
Considering the time which you had given us, we think that the best variant for the match will be Thursday 7th, at 19.00 CET.
GL NOPE TEAM!
So 9 man lite were offline for many days, so we couldn’t talk with them about the time, we tried to talk with them on etf2l site, but they didn’t answer.
Sorry, I’ve only just seen the comment you put regarding Thursday 7th. I’m afraid 1900 CET would have been too early for us anyway, at that time half of our team would not have got back from work.
We were chatting on steam when i had to leave for dinner & now you’ve gone offline, but our server if you want to use it is:
connect 78.129.142.80:27015; password 9monly
I understand nope want to wildcard the game, but nothing has been entered on the fixture page.
We had a team of 6 ready to play (have logs if necessary).
