Proposed for December 12th, 9 PM EST. Will show up as December 13th 3 AM CEST on ETF2L to match euro times. We have a NY/NJ server ready to go with all configs set up.
Let us know ASAP if this works for you. Most of our guys are gone the weekend after this one, so we’d prefer to get this done with.
Just wanted to let you guys know, we’re trying to communicate with our team. The whole next two weeks are bad for us actually. People going home from college, studying/taking finals, and participating in various holiday events. :-( We’ll try to get something figured out soon and get back to you. I wish this was postponed until January.
Time confirmed and locked for December 12th 9 PM EST. Match time 8:45 EST to get people into the server faster. Please forward server info and PW, as well as STV info, to Peter Mansbridge or Don Newman when you can.
gg – best game I have ever played in.
Yeah, Screenshots B on Steel and Screenshots B + C on Goldrush are correct, ignore A, goebwer forgot the scores screenshots (we were all celebrating except me it seems :D )
What polk said, great game.
Thank Inglorious Broadcasters for changing server, lot of lag issues for first map for our team.
Hildreth, you claimed you had the same issues on your server.
Not trying to stir anything up, but in the end, as you said, you guys had issues on both servers. I don’t think there was any need to change, in the end, as my issues, I have later discovered, was with my Internet connection.
Essentially, I think we gave you home server advantage assuming you guys were actually having issues with your server, which according to you guys was not the case in the end. What’s done is done, but it still is unfortunate.
*issues with our server, rather.
I’d be angry too if I lost but chill out, just a game.
Edit – re-read it, ignore previous statement. Apologies.
Though some of the stuff I read from my friend was really disappointing to read.
CALM DOWN, HILDRETH!! Always stirring up trouble, you…
Oh, give me a break Hildreth. I bluntly told your friend what happened in this match, and you really have no place even bringing it up here. I wouldn’t have even commented here if you hadn’t brought up the fact that you guys were having lag issues on our server. It’s completely irrelevant considering the same problems were with your guys on the LTG server.
Something my teammates want me to add:
We spent a bit of time and effort to get our team server relocated from New York to Texas to accommodate this team.
So excuse me if I’m appearing like an asshole and seemingly overreacting about a comment towards our server when in reality nothing was wrong with it.
I wasn’t referring to that, team was grateful of the effort – I mean West coasters don’t want to play on East coast ping and vice versa but fact remained that first map except for Johnse, our scout everyone had least 40+ higher ping on your server and that was the same for your team on LTR’s server. Overall pings make very little difference to the outcome so long as the difference isn’t more than 100, it was a close game, very tense and exciting, emotions running high because both teams wanted to win. I didn’t expect our team to win that game but they proved me wrong.
Good luck in future events. Next time we play, if it is UGC I hope the game is as tense and close, but also hope there is no ill manner between either team.
