Because this match has not been scheduled by either of the teams, a default date has been set for this match.

Here we go,
the problem is/was ETF2L setting the deadline to the 24th, and not to begin of 2011 as we all thought.
This was announced at the 14th of December.
As soon as I heard, I tried to contact TCM to find a suitable date for both of us before the 24th.
I was aware of skinnie being in the states, so I kept messaging byte, numlocked and Coinz.
My team got raped by the ddos/exploit incident really badly, so I had to arrange 8 officials within 5 days before xmas, always keeping Wednesday the 22nd 20cet available for TCM.
(I also offered to play the match at 19 or 22cet, which was declined)
It sounds harsh, but I constantly tried to get in touch with anyone from TCM, but no one seemed to bother.. so I have nothing to feel sorry about.
The only thing I feel sorry about now is FB, who have to play the playoffs for 7th place now, although their match was played _after_ the deadline.
Just to make this clear, I don’t want any harm to TCM or anyone else.. I’m just defending myself from the “accusations” made in the comments.

so the short version of your story is:

you could only play wedn 22nd on 20cet (lol) and because we already had to play dignitas at that time for etf2l, you think you deserve the default win and just took it
nope, i gave more options, but as i had to squeeze in lots of officials its down to: first come, first served.
i gave you the option for wed 20 far before you arranged anything with dignitas!

the only day you were willing to play was wedn 22nd and we COULD play on wedn but like the logs show you could not play on that wedn on the normal matchtime of 21.15cet
there is no justified reason to just take this default win

skinnie, im not making anything up, and if you would ask your players i’m pretty sure they tell you so aswell. it’s not at all my fault that their main organizer (you) were gone.
noone else seemed to bother too much.
check our match history in etf2l and wireplay, we ve been doublebooked almost every evening with officials (20+21).
although we had so many officials i would ve played you guys 19 or 22cet (as already mentioned)

well as i see it blight couldnt/wouldnt play the date tcm were avaliable for in the week before the 24th, and tcm was in the same position in the last week for the date blight gave.
So why do blight get default and not tcm? curious on the thought process since both teams couldnt agree upon a date and both teams offered one.
Seems to me neither team rearly deserve a default but what do i know :P

i made suggestions. coinz asked me the day before wed to play them, which i several times said is booked.
deadline been the 24th.
i even contacted the league admins, that its hard to get in touch with anyone of you and to find a date..
i now give you for the last time the VERY BEST example on why you just didnt give a shit.
i kept wed 20 free for you until the day itself.. and i told your team several times.. but you ve been not sure if byte will be around. i also proposed that date in the etf2l league system!
and then suddenly one day before wednesday you planned on playing dignitas, although i told you (AGAIN) several times this the spot i reserved for you especially! (19cet + 22cet would ve been an option aswell on any day)
now you re not in the playoffs, and thats not my problem at all.. live with it, its your own fault.

First log shows you both agreed on playing it tonight so both teams can play.
Furthermore, I’m sure admins will agree on making an exception so this match can still be played. (There’s still a week left to play the first playoff match anyway)

I dont really care about us not playing the playoff, cause tbh i dont think we deserve to play it when we still had 3 matches to be played after 19th which was the first deadline, and this was due to several reasons lots of ppl know. But i would appreciate you stop lying about us not doing any effort to schedule our game, cause we both know you suggested and i agreed on playing 091 very early, and as soon i knew we had to play before 31th i did everything i could to play our games and the proof is we played vs dig and fb with 2 mercs and i thank both of them for that especially fb they deserve to win the fair play award of the season.
match should be played imo. all i see is blight only giving TCM one date and time to play, which is just as much their fault for getting so backed up as it is TCM’s.
