Hello Team Frickin Teamwork, my team would like to schedule a match with you.
we would prefer to have our match on Sunday nights since that works best for us. below is what we would prefer for the match thanks:

This write up is a joke. This is not at all what happened. I have spoken to the owner of the server and he has watched the demos.

I asked prior to the match if Bicycle Bob was allowed to play. Ghost told me yes. I was missing 4 starters, and bicycle bob was already slated to fill a spot on my team, I just hadnt done it on etf2l yet.
Match starts, we lose Dustbowl. No complaints there.
We go to granary. We lose first 2 rounds. We have a bunch of alternates playing so some are confused as to the terms of victory. We start to try and clarify the rules by asking SoP. At one point Ghost says “uhhh yeah its over”.
A couple of my players drop, I go to steam to get them back and tell them its not over, we drop down around 6 players, their whole team leaves while we cap 3 points and bring it back to 3-3, the whole time telling SoP that it isnt over and we dont forfeit. They are mouthing off calling us noobs and saying “its recorded we got what we need”. Meanwhile Ghost has a really hard time telling me whether we “forfeited” or the mode ended.
As you can see in his match results he went with “tournament mode ended making the official score (0-3) for SourceOP. its all on the demo.”
When in reality one of their players taunted the 6 remaining players we had and said “we are gonna kill the server in 10…9….8… etc.” and then they changed the map with time still on the clock and the score 3-3 with 6 players from FT and 1 or 2 players from SoP.

I spoke with MjrNuT and he watched the demos and provided the server demos. He agrees with me that in the confusion they told us it was over and proceeded to change the map with time on the clock.
I spoke with Ghost and said it should be a rematch and we should reschedule one, but he told me “they didn’t have time”.
Also… we did have a spy with a polycount weapon, we didn’t realize it, when he was told he couldn’t have it was right around the time the match fell apart. He was an alternate and it was an honest mistake as he hadn’t played a comp match with us yet.
And upon watching the demo again, as soon as he was told not to use it he switched back to normal knife.
If SOP left with time remaining they have defaulted the week as per the precedent set at http://etf2l.org/matches/20901/
I see that Flagrant, you guys proceeded to continue capping even though my team wasn’t there but it even says that in the rules, a highlander team must have 9 people to play, so I don’t see how that should be consider valid.
1.6 Minimum of 9 players needed to play a match
Your team will need at least 9 players to play a scheduled Highlander match. You can choose to use a merc in case you do not have enough players online (see: rules 2.1.7 & 2.1.8 for the tournament, 3.2 for the ladder).
and more then one person on your team was using polycount weapons. sry this how to go turn out this way too, there seem to be a lot of confusion during after the 3rd round, when people started to leave, I also believed that the match was over. so thats why after your team started to leave, we left the server. don’t think my team would consider to forfeit after we where up 3-0.
Aye, your sniper was using darwin’s shield as well as the spy’s weapon. We assumed you forfeited since we saw 2 of your team leave after the second round since we guessed some of your team was convinced on the winning bylaws, which I assumed they thought it must have been a best 2 out of 3 issue. I’m sorry it played out that way, we would have gladly have stayed to the end if we had known you all wanted to continue. I don’t think it’s good to say we’d have forfeited when we were clearly up 3-0 though.
SourceOP win cp_granary 3-0; when 3 players left from Frickin Teamwork’s team this constituted a forfeit. In future please make sure all players are made aware of how the game-modes are scored, so that this does not happen again. Frickin Teamwork also receive minor warning for using a merc who isn’t registered on etf2l.org (all players must have an etf2l website account in order to play) and for using polycount weapons which are banned from the competition.
