So what time would you guys like to do this? We’d like 9-10 central time on Saturday if that sounds good.
Saturday’s not a good day for us. Is Sunday evening around 8-9 central good for you?
Sunday isn’t good for us, could you do Friday around 10-9 central?
We’re busy both Friday and Saturday, so Monday night’s the next logical option, is that okay for you guys?
Actually, we MIGHT be able to squeeze it in Friday, it woulda hve to be as late as 10-11 central though.
That might work.
We have a match at 9, so if we finish quickly enough, we can do that.
To make it formal, I proposed a time, (sometimes site admins appreciate knowing when teams are actually playing and all). The site is in CDT so to convert from Central that’s +7 hours, or 6am European time. :p
Alright so from what I can tell you set the time to 3am CDT, so you want to do it… 9EST/8CST? I thought it had to be later.
I am afraid, the scores are submitted wrong. The scores on A/D maps in the style of dustbowl or pl_maps can only be 1-0 or 0-1 (in favour of the faster team).
The score screenshot for dustbowl is missing and the upward screenshot is the wrong one. For A/D and pl_mpas you need to cap the very last screen that shows “…. wins!” (Example: http://etf2l.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/badwater_score_SF_DB.jpg).
I removed the result, please upload the correct results AND the correct screenshots as soon as possible. If you do not follow this request both teams will be given a warning that can lead to the deduction of points.
Additionally, the players Atomsk and Jon Jern have entered an incorrect steam id or are not registered on ETF2L. Using an unregistered player or a player with an invalid steam id results in a warning so please contact an admin via IRC to fix the steam ids!
I hope you understand that these things are vital to keep the tournament running smoothly.
Ok, I’m getting Jon Jern to register on the site as I’m writing this, so you won’t get in trouble, Bionic21. I know he only played with you for a couple of minutes, but he still played.
Now, the server we were forced to play on didn’t do rounds the right way, and we never got the “*** Wins” screen. I don’t know if that will hurt us or not, but I’m working on getting better screen shots on the way. When Kainazzo submitted it, he said he was missing the Dustbowl one, and he should have it soon.
If worst comes to worst we could re-do the match right? I’m not sure how it would go on weekdays but maybe next Friday?
Hopefully we can get the right screens from our demos though.
Every server used for official ETF2L matches needs to have the etf2l.cfg executed. It auotmatically activates the stopwatch mode on A/D and pl_maps.
If you did not play with stopwatch mode enable you should do a rematch.
On dustbowl/upward on each map both teams have to defend once and attack once. The faster team or the team that is capping more total points will win the map.
If you need an admin in the future use IRC to contact one. I can not guarantee that I will have a look on this matchpage frequently.
Aries, I thought you said your server had etf2l.cfg set up.
It did have the right config set up and yes, stopwatch was on, so things should be fine. I just wondered aloud if we should rematch if people can’t get the right screenshots.. I mean, if you have a demo then you’ll be able to take screencaps there.
Screenshots are looking fine now. I verified the results and gave a warning to Team Name Pending for using two unlisted players. Be sure to have your mercs registered at the ETF2L page!
