As the first two comments show, match was agreed to be played tonight by both teams.
Due TCM can’t make this date anymore and Dign don’t have any free match day till 31.3. (which is official deadline for all S4 matches), this is a Def Win for Dignitas.

It’s not like postponing this game holds up anything ETF2L related (ie. the result will not effect play-off placement), so given the circumstances what’s the issue with rescheduling?

well if tcm would be able to handle their shit properly they prolly would have used their wildcard in time. dropping out the same day with some lame excuse won’t cut it. correct decision.

We got fucked the same way last season in the etf2l cup vs tcm :x
Day and as we spoke directly I am refering to you only I unlike others am not the kind of person to quote irc logs but needless to say you have made a really poor decision. I explained our reasons for not playing this match and if you could be arsed to check but as normal you cant you will see that Dignitas could not play on the day we scheduled origonally for this match due to being forced to play \\cc in the EMS final.
I did not cancel this game at any time with Mick as he believes so the way I see it I was a sportsman and cancelled due to another teams commitments and am now getting penalized for it. Unlike a lot of teams we also activley attend Lan competitions in an attempt to raise the profile of the game and are also involved in many leagues there is a limit to what we can do. I am sure if you remember a long time back when you actually played the game that it can be difficult to have a team available all the time but that pressure is even greater for the top level squads I am not being elitist here just truthfull. It is very rare I comment on the way ETF2L is run as on the whole there is a lot of good work done but you also now take up some of my players time with your admin duties how do think that will impact on his playing schedule and yes I know he volenteered.
If you want to help to make the game flourish you need to be helping the top tear teams as their games attract a great deal of interest not just from within the community but also from outside. Or you can just be narrow minded and keep on running your league with the veiw that you have at present. I have run many leagues in my time so I totally understand the need to keep to schedule but as I have run leagues before here is a suggestion. As ETF2L is still growing why not have more teams in the lower divisions and less in the premier which gives the premier teams additional time to play their games and keep other commitments WOW a hard solution to come up with took me all of 1 minute to think of.
Remember I am and never will be elitist just sensible EPIC fail on this one mate other than that I hope your admin keep up the good work!!!
This issue is just to clear: A date was agreed by both teams, no Wildcard was taken, so match has to be played on the agreed date (unless both teams agree on reschedule). If one team doesn’t show for a scheduled date, the other team gets a Default Win.
It’s the same rules for all 250 teams, we don’t do any exceptions cause if we do it once, we have to do it for every team. (Besides we have already made an exception for your W3 match vs TmG)
Maybe it’s not always admins’ fault, but your own fault by not showing up and not taking a Wildcard in time. You probably knew since weeks you will attend to this LAN, so it was just your bad organisation imo.
Edit: Of course you can still play this match till 31.3. 23:59 CET if you can agree with dignitas on any date.

Yeah because obviously you can organise missing the ferry out of bad luck(which is what I’m guessing happened). Your doing a good job as admins but this game would have been wildcarded if a leader WAS available, if your in an accident is it fair to loose the game by default?
But who am I to say, I just think it’s lame that some people seem to want things done without shooting, damn hippies..
