You can add me if you want, should be able to help you. :)
1) ‘meta-game’ isn’t about positioning and movement
2) ‘Div 4 scout’ with no official experience at all?
3) ‘going for div 3-2’, see point 2
4) Please be bad troll
5) Good, I’m sure you’ve had some amusement
6) Go play div 6 or maybe 5 if you have skillz
7) Watch casts/streams/demos to see positioning and movement
Good luck.

MGE archive, mostly DM which you definitely need as you do not have div2-3 DM with 80 hours on scout

Cookye’s channel where he uploads POVs.

TF2Povs scout playlist, mostly American but with basher etc these reflect on EU gameplay more closely now.
Good luck in division 6 and I hope you improve your DM to div2/3 level before 2014 because I can guarantee at 80 hours you won’t be higher than div4 or 5 at most.

Thanks for the link, I think these will come to help me with my gameplay.
Ok i´m gonna save you some time and maybe bruise your ego a lil bit but, it will help in the long run if you are brought down back to earth. I’m gonna try and not come off as a complete dick but sometimes people just need the truth.
We trialed you for a div 4 team on two maps vs div 4 opposition, standard div 4 nothing out of the ordinary. We played an even gullywash iirc and a decent/bad badlands. Now, we had at the time trialed a lot of scouts(this was maybe a week ago?) and to put it bluntly you were the worst one we had trialed out of maybe 6-7, and we didn´t want the rest either.
You accomplished nothing on either map, and i mean nothing. You barely got any frags at all even and were dead last on the scoreboard by far, even being far behind our roamer on second last. What you seemed to be doing was running around and dying, that´s it. And while spectacting you i can assure you your DM is nowhere near div 3 level, it´s not even div 4. You had no presence at all and it felt like playing 5vs6 for those two maps.
Now scoreboard doesn´t exactly meassure skill, but when you are dead last on the board by miles, get no notable picks for two maps and no backcaps either, well, you´re out of your league. I do not see how you can hold a candle with a div 3 team or even markosens current div 4 team but i just assume you have to be carried or you are the fastest learner in the history of the human race having improved to a div 4 level since we trialed you like a week ago.
Start out slow in div 5 atleast, get some playtime, experience – trust me it will help you more then running around being carried in higher divisions. Only way to improve is to play. I was where you are now two months ago and i started in div 5 and am now a solid div 4. Skipping div 5 would not have helped me in the slightest as i died to a lot of dumb shit constantly and still do.

Exactly, strategy is not positioning and movement, it’s like, you have 80% charge holding mid and they uber into you, so you drop out and re push in 7 seconds. That’s metagame, not spamming WASD.

It seems some more experienced guys disagree with you quite strongly.
Please remember that ‘DM’ isn’t just point and click but also that movement thing you were asking for help with originally is massively important, especially as a scout.
Saying you have div2-3 DM but your movement is terrible is an oxymoron. You mean you can aim well. Very different things.
This game has been out for like 5 years or something, a lot of people around here have been playing for that long. There’s nothing wrong with playing div 6 or 5 for a season, if you are as good as you say you are then you will be noticed and you can try for higher and higher teams.
Basically, swallow your pride, flick the ego into the corner and play at the level you suit for now. Basically, get over yourself. 80 hours TF2…lol, I got over 1300 as medic alone.

Thanks for the feedback and sorry for wasting your trial time. That game was horrible.
