I got some PC upgrades for christmas so thought I’d start streaming my games live whilst I’m still at home with good internet. Go back to uni next week so don’t know if internet will be good enough to keep streaming or not but I will still be recording my games and uploading them to my YouTube.

Most mixes are around a div3 level, nothing amazing at all but hopefully will be helpful or enjoyable for some peeps.

nah not at all actually, I was pretty surprised. I still get 131fps or roundabouts since I play with chris’ maxfps. Have an i5 2500k and 8gb of ram and its definitely playable.

its also doable on a phenom II X4 955, though i reccomend you overclock it a bit (mine is running at 3.8ghz).
it all really depends on the bitrate you are streaming at (higher bitrate requires not only a beefier upload connection, but also a beefier CPU since it has to encode it at a higher bitrate), what FPS you are streaming at (30 FPS streaming requires less CPU power than 45 or 60fps), how beefy your CPU is (iseries processors are better than AMD processors, and higher clockspeed is better), the amount of memory you have (4GB is the minimum really) and how fancy you are running your TF2.
basically, if you dont mind your TF2 looking like absolute bollocks, you can easily stream with a non-top of the line CPU, if you dont want to stream, but just record + upload overnight, you dont even need that, and you can do it with a shitty PC as well (though basically, the more CPU power you have, the better it is)
also you kinda need at least a 2 mbit upload connection if you want to have your TF2 watchable (i have 2.5, shrike has 10, cube has 8)

Playing Scout tonight again mercing for 9men. Should be going live in about 15 mins and I will be playing games all night, tune in if you want to see some 9dmg meatshots.

Ontopic: The stream looks nice, watched a few min one night I was bored.
offtopic:i’ve wanted to stream my games for so long but theres something horribly wrong with my computer, everytime I record my screen with like bandicam/fraps/xpslit it lags like fuck. my fps doesnt go anywhere lower than 150 in source games but I get microstuttering. :< Tried everything with shrike, didn't work, came here to ask, if others would know.
i5-750 @ 4.3ghz, 4GB RAM @ 1.8, 2x Radeon 5770HD at full clocks, 5MB upload.
not enough ram?
