5hrs of dm/mge per week can be better than 20hrs of 6v6
If you aim to become Mike and get “big play” 2-mans. You dont need master aim/movement to overwhelm other scouts. All this “all aim no brain” shit is rather new imo. The whole airshot/aim/spree thing isn’t gonna matter alot when you get in higher divs. You dont need aim if you got the gamesense to shoot a solly in the back, get buffed and rape a scout 1v1. If you’re below div 4 (Where DM sadly can get you way too far) you get more out of just playing. As soon as you stop suicide running and ending up in 2v1s and what not, you’ll get alot better. Survivability > aim in higher levels, might aswell prepare the right way.

It’s impossible deathmatch as scout, man.
When i play, 4vs1, 2vs1, 3vs1, brave focus, or a demopipe in my back -.-It’s impossible playing and improving..any other way to improve, like pubs with high level, idk TT The deathmatching let me down so much :(
from my observation, scouts should only engage people that aren’t looking / fighting with someone else and if that isn’t possible deal 30dmg shots (on sollys and demos) from a distance and drop to valley/go for health as soon as you get hit once.

Im saying you dont get much use out of being a god at dodging. If you play it well you dont even have to worry about being a god winning 2v1s. Especially not when you’re in div 5/6. Movement is the last thing to worry about. Sure you can spend all day being an MGE boss, but it wont benefit you much if you dont learn general map-awareness and shit, which is usually the problem people are having in lower divs.
People are underestimating playing 6v6 with a purpose. Need practice? MGE DM LOLOLOLOL. Focusing on the way demos play in general will get you much more “movement” than to A/D/Space spam against a scout.

Did you ever see that little german that plays scout for like one of these like teams you know?

Textbook case of people not taking differences in environmental factors coming from the skill spectrum gaps into consideration.

Makes no sense.

Im taking the fact that hes div 5/6 into consideration. Lower divs are dominated by either teams who actually know how to play together or pure dm. If he wish to actually go somewhere, movement is probably not the biggest problem he got, and could probably improve in general by just playing 6v6, instead of going all premier up in this woman and work 5 hours a day on a specific thing.
actually, it’s a lot easier to move up by having beast aim/movement. it doesn’t take long to learn how to 6v6 as a scout, but you have to be able to take down players first.

If he got good movement your deathmatching div have gone up by maybe 2 depending on how good it is, Having a good movement means that you can use the map to your advantage so movement is a big role in getting to higher divisions.
Deathmatching in higher divs is a lot more than people may think, some think that its all gamesense but its just all general awerness (which i like to ignore cuz i like m1+w into enemies and kill them CUZ IM COOL LIKE THAT).
gamesense on a scout in high divs like division 1 bascily know when to engage and know when not too, Or do you like me engage whenever you can because you can hold forward key like a baws

For all the nonbelievers, it is that simple.
jump on head to solly and pew pew and golden cap and div 4 win
Run on point, kill 2 enemies, make that glory cap. Then start missing every single shot. Thats how you play scout.

If you can have at least a 50/50 chance of winning a 1v1, then you should focus on your gamesense, instead of your movement. It doesn’t matter how badly you’re dodging if you’ve got more health. And you don’t need to dodge at all if nobodies looking at you.
In my opinion, gamesense>aim>dodging
The problem with playing MGE / DM is it really doesn’t simulate a 6v6 match at all. I really believe you get more out of playing a public. Then again, my aim really holds me back. Maybe it is better to go dm.
