When I start it, I choose “Full Graphics” and then I get no AA and no anisotropic filtering. The edges on the weapons looks really sharp and so does other textures.
I really don’t know what to do, please help.
Here is specs, dunno if it’s any helpful though:
Intel® Core™2 Quad Processor Q9550 2,81 ghz
HIS Radeon 4890 1 GB
4GB RAM
650W Powersupply

Sometimes it doesn’t apply full graphics for some people so go into Options-> Video and put the AA and AF you want.

Well, that’s a problem too. Because when I change the graphics in the options, I need to restart it so I don’t get sharp edges, and pldx doesn’t save my options.
its the fact that there is dxlevel in the start options, thats why it wont save the options, so its the game reseting the settings.
You could try applying full graphics when you get in-game by pressing F9. The new version will have the option of not forcing the dxlevel.
Will try that
You could try to edit the cfg. In cfg folder there’s a cfg-file called pldx, add console commands for AA and filtering, save and you’re done.
If I just remembered the commands for them…
Don’t know if this is good for the program… just ask Salmon

yeah it’s fine to edit commands like that, just look for the alias graphicssettings and edit the commands
Okay, thanks for the replies :)
