Just wondering is it me or since the Lan forums been added to the forum layout recent posts no longer appear on the forum activity section?
Yeah, I think it has to be added to a list of forums to have threads shown in the recent activity section — the foreign languages forums are excluded from this too, I think the LAN forum might be excluded unintentionally with them because it is opt-in?
I never go into the forum layout anymore and always just use the recent forum activity to find threads, hope they put it back on the main forum activty section otherwise its going to be a pain in the ass and no one will see anything :(

The more people read about lan the better, otherwise they’ll just go by without noticing its there and not be tempted to join us :). Plus reading lan coverage is always good

Shouldn’t LAN be selected by default?
It should, and it does now, at least for the people who have not set any preference for forums to watch. Those who have set their preferences in the past will need to add the new forums themselves for now.

hm… still not selected for me and i’ve not changed anything.
not that it’s too hard for me to go in there and select it ;) i’m just saying, it hasn’t worked

Same here, never touched the forum tracker and lan forum is not on, just force everybody into the lan foruma already
I do have it selected but it is still not showing up under Forum Activity.

It does show for unregistered people. It just doesn’t show for those who registered and have preferences set in their profile (read: pretty much everyone).
