Once again, I find myself here on the Support section seeking advice and help because of a problem. This time, it’s to do with my logitech usb headset. It used to work fine up until about 30 mins ago. Yes, I’ve tried the obvious things. Restarting didn’t work and google didn’t have any similar problems. Basically, my problem is that when I plug in the headset, it says that the USB has malfunctioned and that there has been an error. The solution is to apparently replace the hardware which would be a pain but unless someone helps meh, it looks like it’s the only way forward.
Oh and I’m using Windows 7 if that helps, but I’ve been using this headset for a year now, over two different computers (a few months on my old one and a few months on this one).
get a better headset.
I suggest if money is an issue hd 201’s http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/3385743/Sennheiser-HD-201-Headphones/Product.html and a stand alone mic http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/610576/Logitech-USB-Desktop-Microphone/Product.htmlaltogether cost around about 30-40 quid.
If money isn’t an issue then I would suggest a steelseries siberia, iron lady edition. http://www.steelseries.com/int/products/audio/ironlady-siberia/information
