No idea about the shadows, but I do know another cvar you need to use:

r_drawanormalfuckingviewmodel 1

The shadows are game glitches, I believe, though I also heard people say they’re a bug with certain maps and the way the lighting is done on the map.

They’re a lighting bug, nothing can be done with cvars except some lovely r_shadows 0.

Those shadows are dead bodies, not fixable, put ur ragdolls on again and u wont have the problem
