Artifacting

Pretty sure this is just my screen being crap but thought I’d ask.
Before I explain the issue, vsync does NOT fix it..
Basically, I get almost a “scanline” moving up my screen, very slowly, usually sits around the middle portion, and it tears on vertical lines when strafing past them (such as on a corner while looking at it), and is slightly noticeable causing some kind of tear when generally moving forwards, does not occur when standing still
As I said, vsync doesn’t fix it, nor do I want it on anyway, so I’m not sure as to what this actually is, just wondering if anyone else had experienced the same thing, and if they got anywhere with it
Not an issue, just slightly annoying
“artifacting” is not the word to describe this, that means something else, but anyway.
have you checked with cl_showfps 1 that vsync has actually successfully locked the fps to a divisor of your monitor’s refresh rate?

Yeah, know it’s not artifacting but don’t know what to call it
As for the vsync, yep, I’ve even tried running at different frequencies, 75hz seems to exhibit the problem less than 60hz
