My cl ( pluisje ) doesn’t really know how to put the etf2l config on our server ( multiplay )
Could you guys give us some help ?

I dont think MPUK run FTP

Go to clanforge.multiplay.co.uk and log in then it should be under profiles > config and make a new one call it etf2l and paste in the config.

The etf2l config already is on all multiplay servers. Just do: rcon exec etf2l
But it is an old etf2l config. I will ask them to update it.

you CAN use FTP in fact, but it’s (the last time i tried at least) read-only :P For demos it’s waaay better than the web panel.

I had huge problems getting configs to work on our multiplay server. That was until I found out the magic ingredient (the ServerID).
You can find your serverid by logging into clanforge and expanding the details of your TF2 server. Ours is a 5 digit number yours should be similar.

the rcon command is:
rcon exec xxxxx/etf2l
where xxxxx is your ServerID

We load the etf2l cfg as normal, but for whatever reason, sv_pauseable never ever works? I have to put it in manually.

Any ideas how to fix? Really have no clue about server cfg’s/ftp etc… :)

It’s sv_pausable, not sv_pauseable, maybe that’s it — make sure the right var is actually being set.

You can also set up an alias in your server config such as

alias “etf2l” “exec xxxxx/etf2l.cfg”

and then just rcon etf2l for the config
