I currently have this CPU Water Block http://ixbtlabs.com/articles3/cpu/tt-bigwater760i-lcs/bigwater-waterblock.jpg
Currently in a socket 775 motherboard. But I want to upgrade to an i5 in a few weeks, so my question do I need to buy a new water block or just new backing plates? (Both the backing plate and the top plates that hold it to the mobo are removable so it looks like this http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/Upload/Product/Product/1616/Photos/29cbd5bd-a97f-4590-ae2e-43adc3017c54/B_03_WATERblOCK_450.gif.jpg)

It’s part of the bigwater kit http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/Product.aspx?C=1160&ID=1616
While TF2 is widely known as being the most CPU hungry game mankind has ever conceived, people wanting to upgrade their computers for (partially) different reasons is not unheard of.
Watercooled i5, eh…mine runs idle at average 24°C with aircooling (3 fans+heatsink), let’s see what you can do.

don’t bother, tf2 is dead
It must be obvious day at camp stupid.
Does anyone know the actual answer to my question though?

you will need an upgrade kit for it. something like this http://thermaltakestore.com/a242331.html this is for the i7 but might do for the i5, or there could be one for the i5 you will have to look.
