Ok. I’ve reinstalled my pc and noticed sometimes my left mouse button does not respond or responds after a minor delay (couple of ms, enough to be noticed). At other moments it’s fine (like 90% of the time). Really annoying when playing tf2 (only way to properly scout is to hold down lmb and make shots 2-6 count, and shot 1 if you track well), but also in windows (although it seems to occur less often there). Long hard clicks seem to reg better. Does anyone have any idea what causes this? I’ve tried setting the polling rate to 500hz, like I had before my format, but that didn’t make a difference. I’m wondering if it’s a hardware or a software problem :/.

i think is hardware. Lot of Razer mouses have this problem. I had almost the same with my Copperhead, and almost all of my friends had this problem with their DA. I opened up my copperhead, cleaned it and stuff and it helped a bit, but suddenly my mousewheel broke, so i had to buy a new mouse… :P So, dunno, I think it’s a hardware problem, but maybe im wrong.

Well that sucks. My old G2 DB worked flawlessly for years this ain’t even a year old.

I really like the sensor, I might buy a DA. But the new one seems to have problems tracking? But then again, this mouse also has a clipping problem at high speeds.

Tracks well, but really gotta learn to aim again because of the different grip you need.

After about 1.5 years my Krait stopped recognizing klicks and I had to press firmer to make them register. I opened it up to investigate and found that the hardware switches had literally grinded away a large chunk of the plastic connecting to the button. Since you likely use the left mouse button more often it is also more likely to wear out faster, so unless you experience simular problems with the right one it is most likely due to the above problem. It took 3 times as long for me, my brother and my parents combined to wear out an Intellimouse Explorer in the same way but I find that the short lifespan is a small price to pay for the excellency of Razer mice.
