Cheapest TF2 servers.

I need a TF2 server as ours has gone kaput now, I don’t have much money so I need the cheapest deal but the fastest.
Anyone have any recommendations?

dont think you will find a cheaper one, but dont really know about the performance

We’ve used a Vitinetwork.eu server for about 2 months now, can’t really complain and it’s very cheap.
A bit under €10/month (on a 3 month base).
I’ve had some minor issues, but they were solved quickly, I’m also fairly sure that they occured because it’s a rather new company.
Pings have been decent apart from one time where everyone pinged 300 for about 5 seconds :p
Mind you that they’re Dutch speaking so I can’t tell you how the support in other languages will be.

We use 540hosting – never had a problem with them and it’s been pretty bulletproof for months.

no. Just, no. UKGame wrote the book on how to oversell and then not fix problems when people complain. So dear god, don’t go with them.

If you’re after one in Holland, it’s worth asking n1ping for a server to test. They’ve recently moved their Amsterdam servers, and they ping 15ms less for me, really nice connection. Also, when Vertex borrowed a test server from them, we were allowed to move it between locations as well – uk/nl/etc.
Speak to n3ga in #etf2l or #n1ping – he’s a nice guy and I’m sure he’ll give you a good deal :)
