hey , i got this problem ( Memory Corruption Detected ) since thursday and it kicked me from the server like a disconnect. Before the disc, i am getting massiv fps drops and then the server kicks me with this msg. After that i can connect to server again , but its only a question of time, if the server kicks me again. I have win xp and ATI Radeon HD 3850 as hardware. There is a thread http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1099486 in the steamforums , but nobody chould explain this. I have read that VAC is involved. Now the best: iam getting this msg not only in tf2 , even in css and DoD. I´ve ran the defrag and validating , but nothing worked. Hope somebody can help me with this problem or has the same problem like me.

Filed a report to steam support^^

Update: Installing SteamService fixed it.
